This question has come up among players. I've been unable to answer it, so maybe somebody here can.
Do any of you folks know when gnomes reached Golarion? An exact year would be great, but even knowledge of "at some point during this particular millennium" would be amazingly helpful.
No one knows when the gnomes came to Golarion or exactly why they left the First World in the first place. They arrived during the Age of Anguish and many believe that they were fleeing some sort of cataclysm (perhaps one they had a hand in starting themselves..)
there is some stuff in KM adv 6, but i dont think it has exact times
Age of Anguish is good enough for me, tells me everything I needed to know.

Anytime! I got that info from the Gnomes of Golarion companion which is a good read if you have a spot in your heart for gnomes like I do. =)

And if you can overlook the coloring of the pages. Seriously, I've never come across anything before that could be described as "bruised".

According to The Inner Sea World Guide:
Age of Anguish, Date -4202, "The gnome race, fleeing an unknown terror from the Firts World, arrives in various locations throughout the Inner Sea region where the boundaries between dimensions have worn thin."
An exact date! Excellent!
The question was for a potential (at the time) Changeling Gnome character born in -1713 (but living in present day). At 6423 years old, she's the oldest PC I've ever seen.
After learning it was age of anguish I gave the go-ahead on that character's creation.
