Hi,
I'm running "First Steps" for a group of 100% brand new PFS members (and of the six of them, only 2 have played tabletop RPGs ever before) tomorrow, and the other night I saw this:
Which leads me to a few questions:
How do I go about implementing this since our game is within the time-range given? It seems like a great lead-in for the PCs - party one night, and report bright-and-surly to PFS HQ the next morning...
Are there any special ways I should fill out the Scenario # and other information on the right-side/bottom?
Can this be given to them before their first game, or only in conjunction with a scenario being actively played / after a played-scenario?
Least important of all - do I qualify for these if I don't play during the time-range given, but I do GM?
Thanks very much in advance!

You can give it to them to apply to their new characters. You can use the story of Archerfeast as a lead-in to the story if you think it appropriate. You might have characters who would like a reason to show up , especially if they are new. You could say the Pathfinder Society went sent representatives to the Archerfeast festivities, looking for adventurers, and any of them without some backstory as to why they joined the Society can use that as a starting point.

Since boons do not award Gold, XP or Prestige, you can just kinda draw a line through those. The info at the bottom (Event, Date, GM Sig., ID#) are still filled out by you. As for Scenario number, that will depend on the player usually. Since this is their first scenario, maybe just put it in after their first adventure. Their first adventure can be Chronicle 1, and the Archerfeast boon can be 1.5. Most people like to leave the whole numbers to scenarios, so they can have a good idea of how much XP they've earned just by looking at the top of their latest Chronicle.

It can be given before, in case they choose to use the benefits for that scenario.

I believe the general rule is that GMs do not get boons. I should double-check that.
