The samurai conversion was posted to my blog yesterday, and with that I've finished BB-ifying all the core classes.

I'll consolidate all of the classes into a single PDF in a few days, so everything will be in one handy document. Please let me know if you have any questions or catch any errors. Many thanks.

Again great work Ed.

I use your templates every day.

Cheers, Ed!

Great community support, and I look forward to the compiled PDF!

Side note: is anyone making pregens for all the converted classes?

I made two but I'm having to rework them. They were Amiri and Seelah.

Thanks everyone. I'm glad people find these to be useful (especially after all the work I put into them, hehe ;) ).

Just posted a PDF that consolidates all the new feats from the class conversions with the feats from the Heroes Handbook and the player's supplement that Paizo put out. You can dl it at the link above.

Cheers.

This is all high quality work. The effort you've put into continuing the 'easy to assimilate' format of the BB is greatly appreciated.

Plus, some of us are trying to fill out the monsters in the 'BB simple' format, too!

(I did Giant Fly, Giant Maggot and Giant Amoeba, and Ed did several other monsters--including scorpions, owlbears and gelatinous cubes--OH MY!)

More monsters are coming, too. ;)

Face it--Ed's blog ROCKS.

Cheers Ed!!! :D :D

Thanks guys. :)

Just finished the consolidated class conversion document. It doesn't include the five classes Paizo did for the BB (yet), but includes all the ones I did, in one handy document. You can dl it at the link above.

Cheers.

Thanks for the work on this. Fantastic work.

Very impressive

just a quick note that my gf is currently using the sorcerer and is really glad the draconic bloodline was in there :)

Any chance of expanding these to 10th level?

You don't really want to let it get to high otherwise it makes getting the core rulebook pointless, its just supposed to be a stepping stone into the full game, by lvl 5 in the beginner box the players should be comfortable enough to make the transition.

plus even at lvl 1 the main rules offer their chosen classes with much more very tasty options so not only will it offer them more choices but is able to allow them much more freedom to customise their class to their play style.

This is great work, seriously well done! I've been toying for a while of making BB GM screen sheets but can't quite find the time to do it right.

For a number of reasons, I have no intention of expanding the PFBB classes (or my conversions) beyond level 5. But if someone else wants to do it....

Would you consider making the other "core" class iconic characters? I know this is a decent amount of work, but we appreciate your dedication.

(As for the other iconic class characters, please everyone, give this man a six-month break at least.) :)

If you mean make the pregens for each class? I think DWishR was working on that and the ones I saw looked simply amazing, so much better than anything I could ever do. I know there were some problems with the trade dress on the pregens, but hopefully that'll all get sorted out soon.

Holy Crap! Ed wasn't kidding. This is excellent work!

Paizo should really consider you two for employment. :)

Ed, please check your email as well.

Very impressive.

I think you should add Cackle for the witch class. It's a heck of a lot of fun while playing to hear somebody hamming it up cackling. It's also one of the best things about the witch class.

Good work fella! :D Loving the simplified Gnome, those extra 0 level spells have always rankled.

Oh, wow, this is some great stuff. (Yeah, I know, late to the party. Sue me, heh.)

Hi I´m a big fan of Ed´s conversions and templates, as I use them on my BB campaign.

Actually I´m working on a conversion to level up BB characters to 6th level using ed´s templates, but I wanted to ask permision from ED and the paizo staff since I know they read the forums, before I post them-

Happy rolls

I'm glad you find the conversions useful. I have no problem with people building on my work. My only request is, if you release for public consumption, just acknowledge my work. Also, if you release for public consumption, you'll have to comply with Paizo's Community Use Policy and the OGL (as I found out the hard way :) ).

If he uses your work in something he releases publicly, he'll have to acknowledge your work... it's required by the OGL. :)

Well I´m here again, of course I'll acknowledge ed's work if not why ask permission at all, anyway here are the templates and a tiny spell addendum for the cleric and the wizard.

This is the only place where this is posted, let me know if anything is wrong or out of place to correct it.

(I had problems to linkify it, sorry, maybe someone could explain me how this is done on the forums)

This is an awesome resource - thank you.

Hi, I´d been asked to reload the BB templates for 6th level characters again so here They are, also some minor mistakes have been corrected.

Happy rolls.

The 6th level template expansions look pretty good. Are you planning to do them for the rest of the classes?

Dot.

I would love to see the rest kitted out in the same format!

Now that I think about it, I can likely do others on my own and make my own changes if necessary. Was there any design process in mind for you when you made them? For instance, you left out the trap sense upgrade on the barbarian, if I'm not mistaken.

I can't download the link on your blog Ed. What happen? I'm curious to see magus class in BB!

I'd been playing Pathfinder for a while, however to me is a game with a heavy rules system, that's why I like better the BB system.

Using Ed's templates and data from the PFSRD, I put together a file for my personal use that contains light rules for:

Attacks of oportunity, Combat moves, Monster templates, My 6th level character templates, The beginners box pregen of Amiri, Stats for the Goblin dog and the Sandpoint Devil, and a race addendum among other things.

It´s still in RTF format, but I guess it can be of use to someone here, I tried to follow all of the OGL guidelines, so if you see something out of place tell me to correct it.

Here it is

Happy rolls

@Edofwar and Iker

Out of curiosity I thought I'd check out the number of downloads so far for the PFBB Consolidated Class Conversion PDF.

There have been over 3,400 downloads to date! Holy cow, that blew my socks off. My thanks to everyone who's downloaded the document. I hope you found it to be of use.

Cheers.

I've used them and found them useful. Thanks for putting it together.

Really happy with it. Nice work!

One of the players at my regular BB table wanted to be a Summoner so I used Ed's conversion to make a BB-style sheet for the eidolon and pregen-style sidebars for a blank BB character sheet. I also used the conversions for a BB conversion of Mogmurch for We Be Goblins.

I'd also dressed up the Alchemist content in BB-book styles as a design portfolio piece, but I'm not sure if it's CUP-compatible to share it. I got to reuse the design work I did on the Wayfinder Beginner Box bestiaries, though!

Nice work, it looks very slick. Better than anything I've put together. Thanks for sharing it.

Wow, thanks Ed

Wow, just wow! Thank you very much for making this!

Thanks for this stuff Ed. Just curious, how come you used Damiel for the half-elf picture? He's an elf. Seltyiel and Lirianne are the iconic half-elves (and possibly one of the new ones; haven't looked yet).
