I don't know why this just hit me. Just had a sudden pang of fondness for these two memetic badasses.

My favorite parts of YouTube certainly haven't been the same without them. :(

I miss Carl Sagan and TV Shows like MASH, The Goodies and Dads Army

I bloody well miss Don LaFontaine, and never got to meet him in person.

And I always wanted him to narrate a porn script.

I also didn't get to meet, and painfully miss, George Carlin.

But I also miss Steve Irwin..if ever anyone on this planet was a ranger it was Stevo..and face it we all knew he was never going to die peacefully in bed .

I thought he was going to get eaten by a gator, he's last words being "Krikey, look at those teeth!"

I miss Irwin. I miss him a great deal. Screw everything PETA said about him after he died, he was awesome.

The Goon show?

Yes you knew he would have a fatal encounter at some point. It was inevitable. I just thought Jack Hannah would go first.

At least Steve Irwin died doing what he loved.

Goofing off with dangerous animals for educational purposes.

I wonder how templated that stingray was?

Dire stingray with a +2 keen stinger of humanbane. That is the only logical explanation.

I miss Mays' beard. It was beautiful...

Without the goons there would be no Python.

The Mystery of the Marie Celeste (solved)

Seagoon: He was a tall, vile man, dressed in the naval uniform of a sea-going sailor. Under his left arm he held a neatly rolled anchor, while with his right he scanned the horizon with a pair of powerful kippers.

I think when Jeremy Brett died, it should have been made illegal to portray Sherlock Holmes on screen.

I have to disagree Benedict Cumberbatch is one of the best....

you loves it

I really miss Tage Danielsson, Douglas Adams, and Joe Strummer. All people who had something to say, and managed to do it in an entertaining way without dumbing it down.

Spoiler:
Okay, so Strummer could sometimes give the impression he'd had a spliff or two too many, and some of the things he said weren't completely thought through - but on balance he still put out a lot more stuff that makes sense than stuff that doesn't.
