Shadow Lodge

I am looking for a miniature to represent an attic whisperer.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Linkified.

You could use the little skeleton in the Reaper Warlord Familiar Pack III -- if you order from Reaper you can use the "Boneyard" to just buy that one:

If you have time for extra work, cut the scroll out and replace it with the teddy bear or other toy from the Evil Toys pack.

Alternately, you could take a child miniature and paint it in ghastly colors, or if you're up for conversion, chop off the head and replace it with a skull.

ETA: Oooh, another option might be do something with either the Christmas future or Christmas past figures in this set.

I love those ideas. Time to break out my jeweler's saw and pin vice :).

Okay I did this with a little inpsiration from another forum about using tissue paper soaked in glue for the blanket it's wearing and recalling that I had some 1:72 scale skeletons and some miniature skulls that were slightly larger than the skeleton's skull. I swapped heads (big head on a little body looks more childlike to me) and here is the prototype thus far. It comes up to a regular DnD sized miniatures waist. I haven't applied a wash yet or figured out what I will do on the base. I may make a small teddy bear with clay and glue it to the base. Thanks for the help everyone! Too bad I don't have any fox skulls to use.

Nice! If you have any putty you could try to enlongate the nose of the skull. But that looks awesome!

OMG! They're real! Run for your lives!!

Do you have any of these? I couldn't find a bigger image, but that's a Wolf Skeleton mini from the Harbinger DDM set. I've got about a dozen of them so I figure they must be pretty easy to find or replace if you want to cut off its head for your mini.
