Check out the PaizoCon UK website for the latest info.
Last year we ran 81 tables of Pathfinder Society adventures at Conception. This year we are going to try to hit 100! Come and join us as we make the attempt. We pride ourselves on being the friendliest living campaign and you are welcome to join us as a complete beginner or as an old veteran.
The adventures are not finalised but we aim to run the latest, hottest adventures that have been released in time to allow our GMs to prepare them properly. But we will also run older adventures and special introductory games that will ease your character into the campaign and give you a chance to meet the mysterious faction leaders who may persuade you to undertake their dirty work.
So avoid playing adventures from this provisional list if you want to play them at Conception:
HOT NEW adventures
#3-09: The Quest for Perfection—Part I: The Edge of Heaven Levels 1–5

Though the monastery has long laid unused by the faithful of the Master of Masters, it is not completely devoid of danger, and the PCs soon discover that merely retrieving the ancient artifact is but the beginning of a much larger quest.
#3-10: The Immortal Conundrum Levels 5–9
When the Pathfinder Society receives an invitation to a dinner party at the Thuvian Embassy, hosted by the guardian of this year's six doses of the infamous sun orchid elixir, the Decemvirate sends a team of Pathfinders to represent them and uncover the nature of the event. With an ancient Iroran relic in hand, the Pathfinders must make a long river voyage to the inland nation of Shokuro to return it to the only person who can reactivate the long-dormant artifact. Whether dangers take the form of goblinoid menaces on the shores of Kaoling to the north or the powerful armies of Lingshen to the south, the Pathfinders' journey will be anything but a pleasure cruise. Can the PCs survive hostile waters to safely reach their destination, or will they fall victim to the perils of river travel in Tian Xia?

On an isolated demiplane, the Pathfinders explore an Osirian ruin transported from Golarion by a powerful sorcerer centuries ago. Survived another year. The first one with the whole family dropping by a day later.
I did GM 7 - down three from last year but I didn't wanted to do that many again.
The family played 17 slots between all of us. My wife leading with our son close on her heels. And I managed to actually play four myself.
I had some great games - both as player as well as GM.
Thanks to Dave for all his effort and organising it. Having shared a lodge with him I can tell how often he had to organise some extra scenario or chronicle sheet. And while doing this he still GMed most slots as well.

I think we need to work on getting more Scottish groups and conventions running.
So, it seems that we all survived Conception - battered and bloodied but unbowed :)
Well, I think it went well. I'm particularly interested in any reviews/comments on the Pathfinder games and specifdically how you think Blood Under Absalom went.
A huge thank you to all the GMs! If you didn't receive any GM boons then contact me please.

I had a great time, I managed to do both 3 slotters; First Steps and Shades of Ice. I had a great time and found them to be enjoyable adventures.
The First steps series is a great way to introduce pathfinder to players both new and old. My Character Noire found her calling after being a 'guest' with her Grace, the Paracountess.
The Shades of Ice series was really good although from what we experienced the final encounter might need tweaking -would advise a closer look at the tactics and placement of the NPCs in the final battle.
Both Paul and Dan provided the groups in which I was involved, a great deal of entertainment.
I didn't get to play in Blood under Absalom but my character was 3rd level (there were fewer tier 3-4 places available but I realise, being a Conception and living campaign veteran, that players cannot always get a game) and I couldn't play down for this special. I gracefully gave up my place on a tier 1-2 table so that someone else could have a game.
I hope Blood under Absalom will be run at other conventions so that players that missed out can get a chance to play. (In this I'd put forward a suggestion that players , not characters, who haven't played should be given priority to play if it is.)
But I did have a really great time playing and I really am looking forward to attending more events in the coming year.

Thanks for those comments Mikey. Very much appreciated.
And giving up a place at Blood Under Absalom was very good of you. I know who the player was that got the place and they very much appreciated it.
It would be fantastic to run Blood Under Absalom again in the UK, though I don't know how feasible that would be.
I will pass on your comments to the GMs too. (And there is a lot of agreement with you about the end of Shades 3)
Keep an eye on our PaizoconUK website for details of upcoming UK conventions.

Some people here might find this interesting:
The numbers are from the organizer - so I'm not sure all are PFS. Only Dave will know once he has reported all of them. According to the 2011 numbers Pathfinder had 91 tables (Dave writes about 81 above?). Pathfinder is now close to 25% of the total.
This is quite an achievement for a convention with a lot of different games and a lot of non-living games as well.
What Tabletops were run at 2012?
337 (compared to 408 in 2011).
1. Pathfinder (83 Tables)
2. D&D 4.0 (26 Tables)
3. Call of Cthulhu (20 Tables)
4. WHFRP & WH40K (Dark Heresy & Deathwatch) (19 Tables)
5. Spycraft:FQAC (18 Tables)
6. D&D 3.5 and derivatives (13 Tables)
(Includes LIHR)

...
[tables reported] 337 (compared to 408 in 2011).1. Pathfinder (83 Tables)
Interesting. Overall games down by a sixth, but Pathfinder down about half that and possibly down hardly at all for PFS. I didn't notice any non-PFS Pathfinder.
Pathfinder percentage share of the games up slightly to 1 in 4 games run.
Plus we were at Indiecon (same venue) and Dragonmeet 2 months earlier, plus Paizocon UK was up a lot, plus lots of other cons. I suspect con PFS games overall are significantly up.
