I read the book (after several false starts). I enjoyed it but is kind of dated. Can be summed up as "The heroic noble captialists fighting to save the word from the evil and cowdardly socialists".
I could not force myself to wade through John Galt's 40-50 page long speech in the middle.
Most (somewhat) objective reviews panned the movie, so I did not waste my money.
I started reading it a few times. Never finished. It's interesting, but makes me want to slit my wrists. In other words, It's depressing.
