Goofed up character name

I have a non-computer savvy player who insisted on setting up his account and character on the website. He put his real name as his character's name, and I cannot find a way to edit it. Is it possible for someone on paizo staff to correct it? I have all the relevant information if needed.

Nope, only allows access to the optional features. The character name as it appears on your list is not editable.

Try going to my pathfinder society . Your friend should have a list of his characters at the bottom. Off to the right are some links, including one that says "edit" click on that, and it should allow you to change the name of the character.

It is accessible through your "my account" page, but it is lower, under pathfinder society. When you hit edit there, it takes you to the above link.

Well, I tested it on my profile just to double check. It will give me the option to edit it, but not him on his profile.

If he has posted with that Character 10 times or more, he can not change the name.

I suggest you have your friend email customer service or post this issue in the CS forum. They should be able to look behind the scenes and see what can and can't be done to help.
