Customizable Scenarios in PFS?

Liberty's Edge 2/5

If I recall correctly, there were some modules for Living Ebberon where the GMs were handed a chronicle sheet and some very loose points necessary to the adventure. The GMs then had to create the adventure around it, allowing for an good amount of customization to modules.

Is there a plan to incorperate an customizable scenarios like this into PFS?

This is a good and bad idea.

Its a good idea because it allows the GM to alter the story to fit the group of players and allows the GM to customize the story in reaction to player actions

Its a bad idea because it would be time consuming to a GM playing a scenario which in of itself is a pretty linear and made to be played within 4-5 hours. This could also lead to complaints from players.

A sandbox type scenarios have been done in fact 3-05 Intro II is a sandbox type adventure set in a dungeon.

I've been thinking about something like for a while. I'd love a blank adventure 'template' for DMs to put together adventures for their players that they could custom tailor for those characters.

I don't know much others do this but my characters often have pretty detailed histories. I'd love to play in a scenario that advanced his/her personal story while Pathfinding.

LFR has something similar they call MYREs. We've had pretty good success with these blank templates in my area. A friend put together a whole story arc that ended up adding some much needed personal connection for our characters in that campaign.

Yes, and I've played a few of those MYREs. One of the few gems that came from the LFR staff. With that said, doing something like that for PFS might not be a bad idea.

This would be a step in the right direction. I could get into running a game like that.
