Ignore Crimson Jester, he can't even spell football.

Oooh, big news, I got my Arsenal Member card in the mail last week! It was a pretty big shock when it came in the mail; I thought signing up just meant I could watch the games online -- didn't know they were gonna mail me a card across The Pond!

Holy Crap! Gruumash, your ancester is Giles Corey!!!
The only thing funnier than that (and cooler) would be if you worked at a stone quarry and had to lift big rocks all day.
No doubt it would be very cool if I worked in a stone quarry. By the way how is the campaign going; The Wizard of Witchfire Mountain?

We finished The Wizard of Witchfire Mountain Saturday; well, we still have to find his phylactery but a Commune spell informed us that, yes, it is somewhere in the upper part of this lair and, no, it's not guarded. It'll take us an hour or so of gaming to finish.
But we've already started building up to the next campaign. All the same PCs except three.
Our pure tank Fighter is staying as the Lord of the PCs Keep; he's retiring from adventuring and will be replaced by a Monk that that Player is really excited about.
Our diplomat / Knowledge PC (Rog-Magus-Inq-Ran) is also staying in Sterich; the Player is building a Wizard (Diplomacy & Knowledge specialist).
Our Wizard is remaining as the "new" Wizard of Witchfire Mountain; we're not sure what the Player will make but we could certainly use a fighter.
Check out our Campaign Journal.
The new Campaign will be a "return to" kinda thing of The Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth.
Iggwilv has returned to Perrenland and is building a Demon and Witch army, etc., etc.
We may take occassional jaunts to Rel Astra (The Fiend-Sage), the Suss Forest (check the last sentence in the Suss Forest entry of the LGG), and the Isle of Dread.
EDIT
Meanwhile,
Arsenal will put a BEAT down on Sunderland and
The Vikings will annihilate Chicago.

I will certainly take a look at the new campaign. I love that you guys are playing in old Greyhawk I love that campaign world. I certainly hope Arsenal beats on Sunderland I have not been following the team or the league is Sunderland good this year?
As for the Vikings over Chicago ... I don't see it happening though hope it does I am not a Jay Cutler or Bears fan. Just hoping my Patriots are able to wup up on the Cowboys.

How long have you been a fan?
In '08 I hired a guy from London to run my history department; he is a huge Arsenal fan and I had wanted to learn about football for years. He and I became friends outside school and I became a fan then.
But it wasn't until last summer at the end of World Cup that I started learning the who the players are and watching more than 3 or 4 games a year.
The last month of last year's season was when I started getting really into it, watching every game and going to Arsenal.com regularly to read the news.
I was gonna subscribe to Arsenal Player at the beginning of the year but got busy, kept forgetting. Watched the first few games at a sports bar. Now I see them online.
Are they finally getting the team on track again?
No.
Arsene did NOTHING this summer except buy a few young prodigies that'll be ready in a few years. He did NOTHING that would make Fabregas consider staying but Fabregas did wait until the very end to sign with Barcelona just in case. And, of course, once Fabregas left (who could blame him?!) Nasri accepted his billion, bazillion pound contract with City leaving us really weak.
Then, and only then, on the last day of signing, did Arsene sign a handful of solid players. Solid, none spectacular.
We can still make 5th place this year over Tottenham but frankly, only if we have a big signing or two in January.
6th place this year is the most probable.

Greyhawk is fun!
I'll be sure and start a new Campaign Journal and, er, "try" to keep it updated. A few friends of mine in other cities check out my campaigns too cuz they can't seem to get games together now that I'm gone, kinda vicarious gaming through me.Sunderland
Sunderland is not as good as they should be this year. Gyan left and he was their best player. They're still a good team but Arsenal should win. Sunderland's best player this year is Bendtner, formerly of Arsenal and he couldn't cut it with us. And he can't play against us cuz he's on loan. Ha Ha.
As for the Vikings over Chicago ... I don't see it happening though hope it does I am not a Jay Cutler or Bears fan. Just hoping my Patriots are able to wup up on the Cowboys.
Well, obviously I hate the Bears with every axiomite and aeon of my soul and am confident we will beat them Sunday. But still, it's a game between ancient Division rivals, the kind where the stats and numbers don't matter. If we win we'll be ahead of them in the Division race on tiebreakers and they'll be last.
As for your Pats and the Cowboys, well, I HATE the Cowboys. Go Pats!
