Constitution Day (or Citizenship Day) is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens. It is observed on September 17, the day the U.S. Constitutional Convention signed the Constitution in 1787.
So, happy National Constitution Day - one of the greatest political documents of all time, that helped shape one of the greatest countries of all time.
And a big congrats to all those wonderful people who have become U.S. citizens, thereby making this country even more awesome than it already was! And if you are doing so today, then DOUBLE AWESOME!!!

[Paizo Troll] What? One of the greatest countries? You don't even have national healthcare so how can we take you seriously when you let your citizens die in the streets? Btw, didn't you know your founding fathers were racist, slave-owning, homophobic monsters? *GASP!* [/Paizo Troll] ;)

Yep thank you for the good bits that we borrowed...
The Australian Constitution
In the 1890s, two constitutional conventions were called, which ultimately adopted a constitution based on a combination of British, American and other models (monarchy and parliamentary government from Britain, federalism from the United States, the use of the referendum from Switzerland). This constitution was then approved by the voters in each of the six colonies.

Not trying to be uncivil, but if RuPaul was running for office, I'd vote for her as well.
Obama is the first black president? Pfft. Big deal...
Also, I'm having Bruno flashbacks.
I wasn't being uncivil either - I would happily vote for an openly gay or transgender person for office. They are in my opinion very honest people who aren't hiding their true selves.

RuPaul still has a stick so is considered a him.
If He decides to run and has the best ideas for national recovery then I might vote for him.
