I thought it could be interesting to see what kind of pre-painted miniatures there are out there for use with your RPG games.
I guess we all know that you can pick up various animals from toy stores to represent everything from horses over (giant) vermin/animals to dinosaurs.
I also came across a line of miniatures that has some cool monsters and dragons.
It's called "Knights" and I found at least one .com store who sold them, so they might be available everywhere.
Here's the link to a Danish toy store who sells them. The normal knight miniatures are too big for normal 25-28mm miniature play (but could maybe be used for giants or enlarged characters), but the monsters, like the minotaur and orcs (ogre substitute?) could be usable. The dragons definitely.
Anyway, click here.
I should note that there ARE other models in this line not represented on the page. I have taken some photos of some of them and I'll see about getting the photos online, so I can link them here.
The miniatures are listed as being 9 cm (3,54 inches) tall.

You might check out the various products put out by Safari Ltd.
Most of the full sized miniatures are pretty big probably at least huge, most are bigger. The toobs are probably pretty good for large sized creatures, maybe slightly undersized but not good for medium. The "good luck minis" are probably tiny(?), and pretty expensive ($100 for 192 minis).
EDIT: I especially recommend the Mythical Realms Toob. You get a chimera (with wings! just teasing PF), minotaur, griffon, unicorn, phoenix, sea dragon, large humanoid (sea giant?), large sized mermaid (maybe can stand in for a lillend if you glued some wings on).

I got the mythical realms toob. Of the eight figures in the toob, only the mermaid is a real challenge to work with. The phoenix is too small to be a Pathfinder phoenix, but it can work as a fire elemental, or a juvenile phoenix I suppose. The chimera, unicorn, griffon, dragon and minotaur are just about the right size for Pathfinder. I cut the wings off of a bat from a bag of creepy critters I got for a few bucks and used epoxy to affix them to the dragon and it came out very nice I think.
The US Toy I frequent has some larger sized miniatures which include military and cowboys and native Americans. They also have some Viking and Roman figures that are just about perfect for giants.
I've gotten some good use out of the bug toob and the trees toob. Spiders and lizards are just about everywhere for just pennies a mini, and they can be frankensteined into dragons, wyverns, and even yuan-ti if you really push it.
I have gotten some surprising mileage out of marine figures. Octopus and squid miniatures are a great source of creepy tentacles. A tiger mini plus some squid tentacles makes a great displacer beast. Crab claws can replace arms or legs for a unique creature.
I am liking these foam sheets more and more as I use them. I've made some very nice bat or dragon style wings from them. I'm looking at a dozen miniatures on my table right now with wings made from craft foam sheets.
And get some birds and horses so you can make pegasi and put creepy bird heads on humanoid minis. Really works well.
