Solution for Flip maps folds?

Does anyone have a good storage solution for Gamemastery flipmats? The sectional folds are really annoying. I try to use them and the mini or counter slides off.

Put them between your mattress and box spring. Then you can store them in something like an art portfolio case for storage.

I store them flat in a single stack. New ones go on the bottom. Eventually the folds smooth out.

A nice sized piece of plexiglass works great to put over any type of game map, works awesome with gaming paper, the flip maps, the dungeon tiles and pretty much everything else.

I keep mine folded for transportation, I just fold the map sections back on themselves before laying it down and the map tends to lay fairly flat.
