Hello there. So, I've got a magus. And as such, she needs something to represent her. She's human, but elven figures work too. To give you an idea of what she should be like, I'll tell you her personality. For starters, she's very... arrogent. Always believeing herself in the right, headstrong, that kind of stuff. She enjoys a quick conversation with someone who is of par to her, and doesn't enjoy mucking around with the "lower class". She studied at the Quantium University, in Nex. She claims to have parrents in the higher courts, with connections to The Three in the council. She is harsh but always thoughtful, and thinks things through before she acts.
Dex magus with a scimitar, female (of course :P).
The figures I've seen so far that "ring a note" are these (the number is a link!):
1: The problem with this miniature, for it is the one closest to what I want, is the shield. She doesn't use one, and I don't have the "umph" to go buy another arm.
2: The detail on this one doesn't look very good, or I would probably put this as my second.
3: I don't like the book. too big.
4: It could be the picture, but again, the details on the figure look a little smudged.
5: Seems like an amazing figure, but the person depicted is too "wild" for my magus.
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'd be more then happy to see them! Please and thank you!

Hmm these are probably not quite what you are looking for
Does she have a familiar?

This one is a master series mini, meaning it is not 'normal' battle grid scale. So probably not a great choice for a game mini.

Drat, this was such a nice miniature too.

How about this one?
Not a scimitar, but you should be able to give the blade enough of a curve by bending it carefully.
EDIT: Just saw this one, too. Seems like a great female magus type figure, complete with scimitar.

Careful. That Finari you've linked is the 54mm version. There should be a small version in there somewhere.
I always thought Loryn was a good go-to girl. We've used her as a warmage, paladin, fighter, etc.

Neither of those really seem to fit, either.

That is a good miniature, but again, shield >.<

Jadeite wrote:How about creating your own miniature? Just create a 3d model and upload it to a site like shapeways. That way you would get exactly what you want. How difficult is it to make a 3d model for this site? I am fairly tech savy, but never done it before.
I haven't done it either, but it shouldn't be that difficult. To me, it seems like a pretty perfect solution for PC miniatures. I haven't really delved into it, though.
Here's a link to a miniature shop on shapeways (not mine), to get an idea of the price (since the artists set the price, your own miniatures might be cheaper):

Thanks! I'll play around with it and see what I can come up with!

This one is a great female magus-style mini, but the sword isn't curved, from what I can tell. However, the rear view seems to imply you could put a curve into the sheath... not sure if it would work out or not, though.
