What: Pathfinder Society at ComicCon 2011
When: July 21-24, 2011
Where: San Diego Convention Center
(We understand that the organized play events will be held in the Marina Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel as well as in the Mezzanine level of the Convention center)
Description: San Diego Comic-Con is a world famous Comic Book and other Fan Media convention. It is something that has to be experienced to be Believed with over 130,000 attendees a year.
Unfortunately, Comic-Con is incredibly popular and has completely sold out for 2011. If you already have a badge we look forward to seeing you at the con. If you don't, there may be some last minute deals on the Comic-Con web site, so keep checking in. Also it is never to early to start thinking about next year!
Events:
Get a table together and play any released one-round Pathfinder Society adventure in our library. It’s a great chance to catch up on older games or play the newer releases (for adventurers level 1-11).
Start Times:
Thursday: 2PM, 7PM
Friday: 9AM, 2PM, 7PM
Saturday: 9AM, 2PM, 7PM
Sunday: 9AM, 2PM
Play Length: 4 hours
Schedule: PFS ComicCon Gaming Schedule and Sign Ups
We are trying something different with Pathfinder at ComicCon 2011.
We have posted every game that we are currently planning to offer at the convention in every slot. The plan is that as the convention gets closer we will delete games that don't have players until we are left with only those games that you want to play when you want to play them!
If there is a scenario that you would like to play that isn't on the schedule send an email to SDPathdfinder <a t> gmail <d o t> com and we will add it!
Thanks for your attention and my apologies to those of you who receive this multiple times.

I'm going to have to put this thing on my radar for next year.
ComicCon is something that must be experienced to be believed. It has taken over all the area surrounding the convention center.
If you do end up heading this way for ComicCon let me know and I will make sure that you get the info needed to make the experience incredible.
Also realize that on the first day of the con that 4 day badges for next year with preview night are expected to sell out. Keep an eye out for when tickets are available and plan on buying your tickets the moment they open up for sale.

Man O Man. Do I want to go to this thing. *sad face*
I mentioned it to the wife and the lasers ricocheted off the inside of skull and bounced around a bit from the stare I got.
I think that was no. Then she said maybe next year after I told her about what you said...
Which I translated as "After I get a trip to Australia and Hawaii". Hmmm. I let you know. Maybe I can talk her down a trip.

Hmmm, I'll have to think about this. Based on the last few years, I don't know if I really want to spend a four or five-hour block of time on playing a scenario. I have too much fun attending panels and walking the convention floor.
But, yes, SDCC is something to be experienced.

You could also drop by and play 'We Be Goblins!' or 'Ambush at Absalom' which should take less than 4 hours or just say hello.
We can also provide directions to the con suite with its free snacks and sodas. The con suite is a good place to.take a break from the crowds.

No matter what I will stop and say hi.
By SDCC, I will have run We Be Goblins! for the first time. Playing it would be tempting, but again, I want to see the panels schedule and see what is happening elsewhere. I have a feeling I'll be at a lot of DC panels to try and figure out how many DC books I'll be buying in September.
We'll see how it goes. Best wishes in getting a lot of players and GMs.

I plan on stopping by and playing. I tried the link in your original post but it is broken.
I will have to role up a new character, suggestions for what others might need to round out a party??
Photos the correct site for schedule and signups is warhorn.net/comic-con-2011/
Please take a moment to register and sign up for events.
I look forward to seeing you at the con!

Good luck this weekend. Have fun!
For next year, if I wanted to take my wife and son to the Con for like a day and Play PFS for a day, do they sell 2-day passes? Are those hard to get? Any idea how much?

Comic-Con sells 4-day passes or 1-day passes only.
If you wanted to come for two day you would need to buy two 1-day passes.
Currently the costs for next year are listed as:
4-day with Preview Night — $175
4 day without Preview Night — $150
4 day Junior ((ages 12–17) and Senior (60 and older) and military badges with previews night — $87
Ditto without Preview Night — $75
1-day pass — $40
1 day pass for juniors, seniors and military — $20
Sunday only — $23
Sunday only juniors, seniors and military — $11
I would _STRONGLY_ advise buying your tickets at the earliest possible opportunity. ComicCon is selling out earlier and earlier with every passing year. This should shift some in the 2013-2015 time frame when San Diego completes an expansion to the convention center. This is expected to result in more tickets being available for sale.
Best of luck and good gaming!
