Okay, assuming that the game is going on track...

Oh, hey, yeah, I knew you meant Bb3 :-) No sweat!

<facepalm>
I don't suppose you'd let me cheat and change my move now, would you?
I'm guessing not.
That'll teach me to move in haste, just because I'm leaving for the day!
Eek! Yeah, that hangs the queen. Go ahead and have a takeback! (I get one later tho :-)
Thank you very much. Clearly, I could never survive tournament play.

I picked up a trick from someone a number of years ago, which is: after I've decided on a move, but before I've made the move, I ask myself: "Am I hanging my queen? Am I getting mated? Am I hanging a significant material (rook, knight, etc)? No? Ok, make the move!" You'd be surprised how often this has saved my bacon in tournament play.
Thanks for the tip.
Am I hanging my queen? Am I getting mated? Am I hanging a significant material?
Ah, what the heck. 17.Qc4-e4

34. I resign.
Good game! Thanks for playing. (And I REALLY want to thank you for humoring me by playing those last few moves, after my defeat was obviously inevitable, satisfying my curiosity about what you were going to do.)
Do you want to play again? If so, take the "human" side, and make the first move.
Sure!

EDIT, btw, 14 Qe2 is where you went wrong

And thanks for the input. I looked at where I went wrong, saw why my move was wrong, and considered what I could have done instead.
You know, this thread represents the first time I could have gotten this kind of input after the fact, although that's not what I had in mind when I started this.
