I believe there is a semi-weekly game at Guardian, are there usually openings? Are there any other regular meetings?

I may be able to GM for an easygoing crowd, but I'd need to beg the players to supply monster minis, I have a tiny collection. :)

Hey Max999,

I was talking to Hyrum about this very same thing. I assumed guardian had games going on there. You wanna coordinate something OR find out who's coordinating something and join in on the fun?

Sounds like a plan. I just checked and it appears that *something* is planned for 6/24 at Guardian-

Someone named BrandingOpportunity is running it. Can you make a Friday night?

What time on Friday? And the link you provided needs me to sign in to a group yet I don't know what group to sign into.

Yeah, the Bigtent site is a bit wonky...

So, yeah, we do games every other Friday, ie 6/24/11, 7/8/11, etc. We are kicking around doing one this Friday the 24th, since we had PaizoCon instead.

We play at Guardian Games, but are kicking around moving to the brand-new Portal Games in downtown (1224 SW Broadway), since we won't have a million bazillion Magic players there.

You should play at BOTH!

'Portland Pathfinder Society' which is under 'Portland rpg gatherings'

6-10pm, I think. Note that I've never been there for the games either, though.

Who runs the game and what tier usually gets played?

Thanks Mark!

Alex (BrandingOpportunity) and I both run a table, though several other GMs are stepping up these days. Of the group members who do not play PFS in other places, their highest members are 5th now. We receive a constant influx of new players, so we are always having a Tier 1-2 table.

We are planning to start running both low-Tier modules and 5-9s at each session.

So to be clear, the next game is on 6/24 from 6 to 10 at Portal games downtown. Am I getting this right?

Right date and time but I believe it's still at Guardian Games.

I just RSVP'd at bigtent. If you are having trouble with the site let me know and shoo me your character info and I can add you to my response.

Didn't see anything on which scenario might be run. I'll probably buy Shadow's Last Stand pt. I and bring it along just in case.

I just did Shadow's Last Stand (Part I and II) at PaizoCon just recently. What's the rules for re-doing senarios? Worst case, I can always create a new character.

You as a player may only get a Chronicle for playing each scenario once. The only way to earn a second Chronicle is to GM the same scenario at least once. You may replay for no credit if you wish, but won't be able to play the same scenario twice and get a second Chronicle, even with a new PC.

Hi, this is BrOp (Alex), the coordinator of the Portland PFS group. We are having a game this Friday (6/17) at Guardian Games, to make up for the game we missed last Friday due to PaizoCon. You can signup for this game at the BIGTENT website.

I won't pick which scenarios we'll be running until I see who signs up for it. There's a pretty good chance that there will be at least one low-tier table and one high-tier.

Hmmmmm, how many spots do you have.

I have a 3rd level paladin, need to level up since played at Paziocon from 2nd level.

Currently still in Seattle and will be in Portland 20 to 27 th for another type of gaming convention.

But could make a special trip.

We generally only play every other Friday, Edward. As far as I know, we're the only regular PFS game in town.

Gentlemen,

This Friday's game, June 17th, is up and taking RSVPs. This session will be at Guardian Games.
The next session will be Friday the 24th, and will most likely be at Portal Games. The sessions will go back to being bi-weekly after that one.

I'm in. There might be a couple of others coming as well. But I am a definite.

Scarab Sages

Count me in as well! I'll come a bit early to generate a character.

Scarab Sages

You know this isn't going to be fair. Bill got all those little goodies from winning the Grand Melee. Just want you to know, Bill, Scrivner will be hiding behind you the entire time.

If you plan on coming this evening, can you please RSVP on the BIGTENT WEBSITE? Otherwise it's very hard to plan on how many tables we have to run.

FYI, I will be a little late this evening, as I am coming from a doctor's appointment, but the other GM (Matt from Mattastrophic) will be there.

Oh, and tonight we will be running two tables of the Season 0 classic "Black Waters" by Tim and Eileen Connors.

Hi Alex, I believe I left my little halfling fighter mini on the table in my rush to leave last night. Did you by any chance come across it? He's one of my favorites, so I would love to return him to my stash. Thanks again for a great game last night. Them ghouls was nasty, but satisfying to put down!

I have played in several PFS games with this group and they are all awesome. Absolutely recommend joining these folks if you are looking for PFS in Portland.

Hello again folks,

In an effort to spread the news of our Portland, OR Pathfinder Society group, I am now posting updates and other effluvia to both our twitter account (@PortlandPFS) and on Facebook (just do a search for Portland Pathfinder Society). Our signups are still happening at the Bigtent site. So come join us, or just follow and stay in touch with our local PFS group.

We still meet every other Friday at 6 PM at Portal Games in downtown Portland, which is located at 1224 Broadway. Our next game is on September 2nd.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Hi Folks,

As this is a top thread after performing a Google search, I figure it important to update our information. We are currently using Warhorn and meeting every Friday on the second floor of the bar at Guardian Games (21 years old and up). We hold several other events throughout the month at various locations for minors as well!
