I want to run a Freeport campaign sometime in the future with my live group, and I'm thinking about doing a PbP here to get me used to using the campaign setting. So I'm feeling out potential gamers here on the boards. I'm sure it'd be easy to get players, but I want to get at least 2 of the 4 players to use a class from the Pathfinder Freeport Companion (link).
If I do this, I'll be running 0one Games Urban Adventure "A Pound of Flesh" starting a level 1, and have it set in Freeport. We'd use Golarion's gods and have Freeport exist somewhere in Golarion as well. The adventure would be lighthearted fun mixed with a lot of investigation, so creating a power character wouldn't really be much of a benefit.
My question is, are there people out there that have the Companion book or PDF and would like to play? Just feeling people out at this point.
Thanks!

Great! Those would be two excellent classes to use. Go ahead and get some character concepts up with backstory. Use the heroic method for ability scores (2d6 and add 6).
So this will be a call out for more players to submit their concepts. I will chose players from those submitted by end of day Thursday June 9th. Please give me your time zone also. Character classes from the Freeport Companion will get priority.
Players will be expected to post at least once a day on weekdays.

Rolls for abilities
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 5) + 6 = 152d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 5) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 6) + 6 = 16
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 2) + 6 = 12
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 5) + 6 = 17
2d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 3) + 6 = 15
Will you allow Azhari from the Freeport Companion or only Golarion races?

I'd love to get in on this. Would like to play a dwarven, musket-slinging gunslinger. However I'd like best to use Elghinn Lightbringer's modified playtest for it. Will link when I edit. Know a bit about Freeport and can read up to get me more up to speed. Just tell me if that'll work for you, I get on every day and can easily manage several posts per day. In Central American time (GMT... -5? -6? Somewhere around there I think.) Thanks for consideration.
EDIT: Here is the current gunslinger build I plan on using. Preferably Marksman archetype. Thanks.

I'm interested in playing, though I don't have the book or the companion. I have heard a bit about Freeport, though I haven't really dug up much on it. Would this cut me from eligibility?
No, not having the book and not knowing much about Freeport would not rule you out. PCs will be accepted by the back story setup and character development. And I'll select at minimum of two classes from the Pathfinder Freeport Companion.
Freeport is a former pirate haven and current scoundrel mecca. You can find out what Freeport is about by reading this free preview to one of the districts at this link..

Hi Ryuko,
I can't open that link at work, will check it out later. But I plan to allow firearms using the Freeport Companion's rules. Not sure how that would mesh with that gunslinger class.

Well if anything is too different I could change. I have two other character concepts that would be fun. Either a utility style wizard based heavily on my favorite Doctor, or more appropriately for Freeport, a synthesizing summoner who goes from wimp to giant with a greatsword. You know, just as backups if the firearm rules don't mesh.

I didn't want the title of this thread and the opening message by myself to be confusing to anyone, so I made An official recruitment thread here
