Crypt then Mask then City then...?

Adventures

So I am starting up a Crypt of the Everflame PBP game. If it goes well I will continue it with Mask of the Living God and then the City of Golden Death.

But what can I run after those 3? Anyone got any suggestions as to something that can be run after I finish those 3 if it comes to that?

It will take approximately 1 year of real time to complete each one of those in PbP format. You've got time to think about it. Maybe there'll be a new module between now and 2014 that would be a fitting 4th. :)

Yup. Our group started this Rise of the Runelords PbP on August 26th, 2007. We just finished book #3 a couple weeks ago and are transitioning into #4. So 3.75 YEARS of real time for 3 adventures. Granted, AP adventures are slightly longer than modules, but it should be fairly close to the same. We're a very active group of players, too. If you've got a group that takes awhile to get their posts up, it's going to take even longer.

Ah, didn't think to check your alias. I've seen you on the discussion thread. I'm Vethran's player. :)

Sovereign Court

If each module is roughly equivalent to one chapter of an AP, then I disagree they will take a year each. It does depend on the pace of the game, but my group and I are on track to complete Kingmaker chapters 1 and 2 in a year of real time (if uni work doesn't slow the pace down too much).

That said, the estimate of a year each probably isn't too far off...

The first module is a basic dungeon crawl, about 25 rooms total, not all of which are combat oriented. But yea, I can see 6 months to a year to get through it.

Also: Get to work on your project so you can do more Serpents Skull so I can see more Fungus men! :O I demand more entertainment!
