The map folios for the first five adventure paths simply contain reprints of (most of) the maps within the adventures, but with one or two poster maps of larger areas also included (for instance, the Rise of the Runelords map folio contains poster maps of Varisia and Sandpoint). The reprints are exactly equal to the maps found in the adventures.
The map folios for the past two adventure paths (Kingmaker and Serpent's Skull), and likely also for future adventure paths, contain several larger poster maps of cities or major areas featured in the adventure paths, rather than reprinting maps from the adventures.
