Anyone know if it is possible to find a figure of a humanoid riding a large sized theropod dinosaur?
The only thing I can find is the 'clawfoot rider' figure, which is medium.
Right now I make do with a star wars mini- a gungan riding a kaadu..
I am assuming you're looking for a pre-painted, in which case I don't really know of any.
If you're looking for, or don't mind, an unpainted mini, I can't find a whole lot either, BUT... with glue and a little cleverness...
Order JUST the dinosaur from this mini:
Reaper 14505A Reptus Cavalry - Scroll all the way down and you'll see where you can select just that component.
Glue him to a 2 inch base.
Then order separately, any other rider figure of the race you want, like the cavalryman from this figure:
There may have to be some filing and bending of the legs to get the one to fit on the other but hopefully that would work okay.
Note that unfortunately a lot of cavalry figures aren't fully separate--sometimes it's just a torso that's separate with the legs attached to the mount--so not everything will work like this. But it's one solution if you want to have that "just right" figure.
The cheaper alternative is just gluing the clawfoot rider you mentioned to a Large size base.
PS: Looks like this model isn't out till June, but it could be another option

The dinosaur mount is also available separately. More expensive than the other options, but you did say "Large."

In my trolling around mini sites I have found a number of metal unpainted figures of this description:
Like this from Cool mini or not's own figure line. Ok it is a cowgirl on a dinosaur, but still cool :)
or this which have a number of figures matching the request, and are generally a good company for mounted figures.
or this, which is an Australian company who also have a number of figures mounted on dinosaurs, but they are German WW2 troops.
If you do wish to convert a figure this conversion article on the Reaper site may be of use.

Check out GDW Warhammer minis, specifically the Dark Elves and Lizard Men. Lots of models riding carnosaurs and cold ones that look pretty sweet. And best of all, there are a TON of mounted model units, so you can have your pick of virtually any rider. Want a Knight, grab a Brettonian or Empire cavalry rider, Elf? Wood, High and Dark Elves. A corrupt looking evil bugger? Vampire Counts or Warriors of Chaos. Just grab a mounted Dark Elf or Lizard man whos dino mount looks good and convert away!!!

Nazis riding dinosaurs? WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?
I will probably go with the prepainted drow patrol mini. I've never been good at painting minis, heh. Just need something more immersive than a damn gungan.
