In Boston for a convention, what should I do?

I will be in Boston this week, today through this Thursday, based out of the convention center and a nearby hotel. What are the local geek attractions/stores?

Go visit Quincy market if you want good eats and a nice outdoor enviornment, Boston Common, of course. The waterfront is nice. If you can get upstairs at the prudential center, that's a good place to be for a view of the whole city. The area around MIT/Harvard is excellent for barhopping.

Stop into the Cambridge Brewing Co. nearby MIT and eat in the beer garden if it is nice out. Drink lots of beer.
