Looking for a particular Arthurian book, possibly by Ursula Le Guin?

Books

When I was in 5th or 6th grade, a literature textbook contained a short story or a chapter of an interesting Arthurian book.

Over the years, I've half-heartedly looked for it, but never could find it.

I seem to remember it being by Ursula Le Guin, but I could be mistaken, so I'll recount what I can remember about the plot.

A group of travelers (time travelers, perhaps, or dimensional travelers? They seemed to be from our modern world) encounters Queen Guinevere and her/Arthur's court.

Arthur was put to rest in the lake, along with Excalibur, but during the winter, someone stole the lake by cutting up the ice blocks and hauling them away on pack animals, far up into some mountains.

The travelers contained a teen/young woman, an older educated/professor-type male, and others.

That's about what I can remember.

Anyone at all familiar with this story?

That's not Ursula LeGuin, that's a chapter from Joan Aiken's "The Stolen Lake" and it's part of her Hanoverian series which starts with "The Wolves of Willoughby Chase," continues on with "Black Hearts in Battersea," "Nightbirds on Nantucket," "The Cuckoo Tree," and "Dido and Pa."
