Two doctor appointments today.
My PCP thinks my nausea and fatigue is probably a result of my tylenol ODing, we'll see what my bloodwork shows. This could be serious, as I'm already at risk for liver failure.
The neurologist said "Good news, both of your brain tests came back normal!" To which I replied "So...what else might be the cause of my awful horrible suicidal insomnia?" "Oh, 99% of the time there's no clear cause of insomnia, in your case it's probably genetic and will get worse as you get older." >:/
The most frustrating part of all of this is the mystery and uncertainty. Last week a different doctor had me tested for tuberculosis because a sputum sample showed something in the TB family that could have been. I was actually disappointed when the test came back negative, because a positive could have explained a whole lot of my health problems this year and given me a clear treatment plan.
Wish I could help somehow…
or at least give some pertinent advice, but I'm afraid the best I can do is channel some positive energy and hope you're way.I really hope you get some clarity as to you're aliment soon TS,
but I you feel there's anything I can do to help please ask away.
*Sends Burly man-hugs*
And on my end, my mom was admitted into the hospital again, but this time for a blood clot in her right lung. I am glad that they believe that they can fix it. They just want her there for observation and ease of treatment.
*Channels a bit of positiv energy and hope Sharoth's mothers way too*
Edit:
*covers up*
Whelp! that wasn't very appropriate ^^'

TS, ick about insomnia =( Why can't American doctors, you know, be more competent at what they're doing?
Also, I'm at the highland country inn in Flagstaff, they have free servings of tea, I've tried the chai spice tea, the misty mint, the lively lemon and the cinnamon and spice herbal tea.
Do not understand what's the problem with chai spice tea, but I suppose like a kanu dog from Caverns of Kalte, I eat and drink nearly anything. Also soon to add bison and elk to my list of exotic meats consumed, since I bought some bison and elk jerky from one of those stores selling native American products in Sedona.

I am all for not giving a patient false hope but this is not an answer re: insomnia.

Sharoth good that they figured out the problem. I hope that they'll be able to fix it soon.
I suppose I'll try peanut butter without sugar...but I think it'll be weird.
Also Freehold, I had grits yesterday and I found them mighty fine... Uh so...try not to get too disappointed.
was it at waffle house?

I simply don't like peanut butter in any format.
Part of that is because of my ex-wife (my first wife, not Aiymi). She has a *bad* peanut allergy. Like, sitting three tables away from someone who orders kung pao is too close - she'll start having a reaction from the fumes. Touch her skin with the shell of a peanut M&M and she'll welt up. I wasn't a huge peanut fan before we met, and once we started dating it was an easy thing for me to give up. We were married for about 5 years, and my "easy thing to give up" developed into "active dislike".
Every form of peanut butter I've tried since the divorce has been a "No, I really do not like this" reaction.

I had to google what molasses are.
So your peanut butter contains sugar, and then cane syrup?
Im even less inclined to try them now.
it is a rather small amount of molasses- I think it is there more to slow separation than as a flavoring. I encourage you to try it. If this was the regular(non hoity-toity) one I would see where you are coming from- there it is a sweetener.

Louis CK's "Of Course...But Maybe..." bit. Yep. Relevant to peanut allergies and posted without comment.
I freaking love standup.

Thanks for the vibes, all.
I'm not much a fan of peanut butter either. If I want something sweet and peanut-y I'll get myself some honey roasted peanuts. If I want something salty and peanut-y I'll get myself some salted peanuts. And even more likely I'll avoid the peanut milieu entirely.
Luis CK is a master at laughing at the ugly underbelly of human nature. Hope we haven't seen the last of him.

Man, the worst thing about being so sick you can barely move is all the barely moving. It suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Fortunately, I am over that.
Now if only my sinuses would stop pouring like a river, that would be cool.
Oh, and I survived a muscle-eating virus I can neither pronounce nor spell, and also a hurricane or whatever (it skimmed us). No big.
(Also, NH, apex predator that hunts in a social order: lions. Also wolves. And gators are just plain sociable, even if they hunt as individuals. Just off the top of my head! Also, also: dragons have to be sociable creatures because they have a language - that's not possible without nonsense magical genetics or an actual society. Also, they absolutely use tools, ranging from coins to artwork to other tool-products, to things like magical and mundane gear (see, also, the now-iconic blue dragon with frickin' laser beams) and that's not to mention magic itself, and they use "tools" such as kobolds and other worshipful or at least servile entities to enact their will. All of these are evidence of both society and technological/tool-based progress. That said, if we're going by "myth" stuff about half of the old dragon images on wikipedia have them with "thumb-like" appendages (akin to bird's claws, but not strictly necessary for standing, depending on their posture), though the claws (if not retractable) would certainly get in the way with finer dexterity. Re: Australian birds setting fires - huh, I'd never heard of that. I was more referring to the fact that Australia seemed to burn down and take its mega-predators with it juuuuuust as humans arrived. That said, birds having fires means that, again, humans are not superior based on tool-use alone. Man, I've been waiting a while to say that. Sorry it's been so long!)
How are all you guys? I might vanish, again, soon. Between running games and real-life chaos, and the endless revel that is one-sickness-after-another (which may well be made worse by the dual plagues of green slime and red tide, I've just recently discovered - especially the green slime), I might not post much, right now, but I'm planning on it! Some day! I will come back for you!
... also, daggum, is Galavant a great show. Just, like, wow. I love that music! So good. Also Saiki K.. Meanwhile, The Walking Dead started out really, really strong, but seems to be kind of like the limping, empty corpses that fill its scenes the further into it I get.

Glorious VICTORY!
Tyrells won by capturing their sixth and seventh castle in the ninth round from Lannister and Stark hands (who pushed Lannisters out of the keep just days before), a round after a massive surprise naval assault spearheaded by ser Loras made him lord Loras of Casterly Rock, and allowed funding last spur of expansion with captured fabled wealth of Lannisters...
Martells last naval strike lost its impact before it reached Highgarden in desperate bid to prevent consolidation of power in Tyrells' hands.
