Now that Owlcon 2011 is in the books with resounding success, I'm pleased to announce that Pathfinder Society will be making its presence felt at Comicpalooza 2011! If recent trends continue I think it's safe to expect around 30 tables this year.

If anyone would like to run tables (GMs who run two slots will receive free entry) or offer suggestions as to what mods they'd enjoy seeing feel free to post here or email me (demoyn35@hotmail.com). All help and any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Currently we're looking into offering the PFS Special, Year of the Shadow Lodge. I am also looking to see if there would be demand for a level 12 table.

If you'd like any more information on Comicpalooza, please feel free to detour your browsers over to the Comicpalooza website. I look forward to seeing you all there!

We have now opened warhorn up to accept GM and player signups. You do NOT have to preregister in order to access warhorn, so feel free to reserve your spots now at warhorn.

Sorry can't make this one, but I am already stretching the Cons *Hotel costs* I can do with also going to PaizoCon and Gen Con.

I plan on running a couple of tables at least. I had a blast last year, looking forward to more awesome Houston gaming awesomeness. :D

My apologies. I must have been signed in when I copied the link and now I can't edit it. :(

I'd like to be the first person to welcome a very special guest to Comicpalooza 2011. Stephen Radney-McFarland, I look forward to seeing you at the end of May!!!

We're still in need of judges for Comicpalooza 2011. If you'd like to judge for us please email me at demoyn35@hotmail.com.

The Exchange 4/5 *

An initial schedule of mods is now up on Warhorn. We will add a few more mods once we know which specials we'll offer and finalize our judge panel, but a majority of the schedule is up right now!

I really want to go to this, but affording another hotel room is going to be difficult with also going to PaizoCon and GenCon.

Anyone have a place for me to crash or wants a roommate for a hotel room, to go halfsies on?

The Exchange 4/5 *

Today the warhorn.net schedule was expanded and is all but finalized. This would be a great time to sign up so that you're assured of getting the module selection you'd like!

The Exchange 4/5 *

With less than two months to go until Comicpalooza we've already had three tables completely fill. To secure your spot at the table of your choice make sure to head over to warhorn.net and sign up. You don't even have to be preregistered for the convention yet to hold your spot!

Signing up in advance also helps our GMs to know which mods to prepare so that your table has an even greater and more memorable experience than you would otherwise. If you want to play and there aren't any mods you can/want to play in sign up for the muster so that we can try to schedule something else for you.

Thanks for your time and I hope to see you all there!

We're only slightly more than a month away from Comicpalooza 2011! The price for preregistering will be increased on May 1st, so register now and save yourself some money! Don't forget that warhorn.net is free and doesn't require preregistration to access.

A few of our DMs have had real life happen recently and, as such, we're looking for another volunteer or two to run some mods. Obviously there are perks to this, so post here or send me an email if you're interested!

This looks like a really fun show, can't wait to get there and see for myself. :)

Still wish I could go, but mostly because of lack of usable leave due to family emergencies and needing the leave I have for PaizoCon and Gen Con I will not make it this year, maybe next year.

That's unfortunate, Dragn. The closer we get to Comicpalooza the more it was looking like I'd be able to find you help with a place to stay.

At the time I asked I had the leave, but I had to use it for a Family Emergency..

Less than two weeks to go! Make sure to preregister on warhorn.net!!!

We're just one week away from the best PFS convention in the Southwest!

So Demoyn, what was the final count of PFS gaming at Comicpalooza?

We ended up with 24 tables at the convention plus about six tables of zero-slotting. We realized after most of the planning was done that married male attendance is down 50% automatically on Memorial Day weekend.

Still, there were lots of people who played and much enjoyment was had. Overall it was a resounding success and I can't wait until next year!

Congratulations on the success. BTW were you aware that the local ABC channel had Comicpalooza reported on by one of their reporters on Friday evening news? Talk about local coverage.

I was not. Comicpalooza has a TON of stuff going on, though, so PFS probably won't really benefit much from it. Last year there were over 4,000 attendees and this year seemed to have even more.

I forgot your forum name, Jason. If you see this, though, please send me an email (demoyn35, hotmail) so that I can ask you some questions about your home group players, please!
