Okay, so I went and saw this today, and I really enjoyed it. It is a good gamer movie with a few interesting twists. It has fiendish wolves, demons, undead clerics, and some great gamer scenery. I am not going to give away the ending, but needless to say my players may hate that I have seen it now.
I have been looking forward to and hoping this would turn out decent since i first saw the previews. Glad you thought it was good. I plan on checking it out come tuesday. /fingers crossed.

... Of course, I try and avoid paying full price for any movie, so take that into consideration.
I've always wondered why movie theaters don't just lower their prices (like half off) all the time... Then EVERYONE would go see movies and they'd make a lot more sales in their confectionary stands.
I know theaters are jam-packed anyway when a big movie comes out, but then by lowering the prices, wouldn't theaters be full every night of the week? It just blows my mind...

Just saw this tonight; not a bad movie. Nonetheless, I felt like it was over way too early. I'd like to see a longer director's cut--I think it had a lot of potential to go all Warhammer-dark, but wanted to avoid the dreaded R-rating.
I'd watch it again. It should definitely appeal to gamers who enjoy setting and atmosphere.

"Oh, this isn't about Halloween 3."
Walks away from thread.
MWA HAHAHAHA. That movie is SO BAD it's GREAT.
Anyway, in response to Season of the Witch, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Nicolas Cage scares the Jesus into me so I tend to avoid anything he's in, but I imagined it would be fantasy-ish.
