Silver Crusade

From shortest to longest.

Also, how long could the last PC you played stand being in a party with him?

For the iconics? Have to think about it.

For me? My Pathfinder society characters... might actually get along with him, or at least stand him. Me as a GM? Not very: one of the PCs in my Kingmaker game is similar to Alain, and I hate his guts. Two thirds of the party can't stand him either, two of the party members aren't around enough to get to despise him, and the last player is the boyfriend of the player (who is a girl).

1. Alain

That's pretty much it!

Valeros could stand his company, as long as he kept buying.

"Alain, how 'bout another round?"

I'm just having a amusing time picturing Seltiyel explaining to Seelah why Alain didn't come back with him from the woods when they left to scout the vicinity together.

"Sel, you haven't done something to Alain have you? I have this strange feeling that you are more smiteworthy than you were an hour ago."

Damiel? I expect the amount of time would be very short. Followed by many large explosions and some brawling, with only one iconic left standing. The battle could go either way, but if Alain were the victor, he'd probably die very soon after from exposure to poisons.

If you'd count PCs I've written along with those I'd played? Norret Gantier would get along fine. A citizen of Galt knows the virtue of a careful tongue, and Norret is an excellent listener with a lot of patience. He'd be rather amazed at anyone with a noble pedigree making it public like that--folk in Galt with such lineages generally work to hide them--but to each his own, and if someone was wanting a Final Blade that badly, Norret wouldn't stand in their way.

Whether the great Alain Germande would want to associate with a humble perfumer and fireworks maker is another matter.

"Hey, I left enought to rez if you really feel that way."

i have a feeling that the gnomes and the halfling iconics wouldn't mind Alain so much

as for my characters... well they tend to the LE or LN and much more of a B**** than him, so either they get along fine... or he ends up a puddle of blood by the morning...
