Hi everyone,
I'm a familiar face to many Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney gamers, as I have run Pathfinder Society at Arcanacon | Conquest | Unicon in Melbourne for the last three years, at GenConOz 2009 Brisbane, PaizoConOz 2010 Brisbane, and have met many gamers from those states.
However, since my appointment as Venture Captain, Australia last October, I have become very aware that I represent a much larger area than just Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. While these three States seem to get the lions share of gaming conventions and gamedays due to larger population, I would like to see, hear about, and support Pathfinder groups and communities throughout Australia.
As I grew up in Adelaide before moving to Melbourne, I often visit family in Adelaide for Christmas, and couldn't pass up an opportunity to drop into a game store or two, or catch up with any local Adelaide Pathfinder players who might have an afternoon to spare over the Christmas New Year break.
So if you have an afternoon to spare for a chat, coffee, maybe even a session of Pathfinder between Christmas and the New Year, then don't be shy, please do [ contact me ] and we'll see if we can catch up.
And if you're ever in Melbourne, you should look up any of the above-mentioned game conventions where I'll be running Pathfinder sessions, or drop into one of our weekly Pathfinder games at Good Games Blackburn.
Cheers,
Stephen (DarkWhite)
Pathfinder Society GM

PS: This thread can also be a starting point for any Adelaide Pathfinder gamers who wish to contact each other, maybe start a regular game day or something - I know you're out there!

Kind of sad that there was no responses to this, but I don't think it's because there are no Adelaide players, I think it's just gone unnoticed and most folks are playing PF in small groups of friends.
I would be interested in taking our little group to Adelaide for a society game if they were still on offer, we haven't had 'heaps' of Pathfinder experience but I've been familiar with DnD 3.5 for over a decade.
But yes, any Adelaide or well, South Australian in general Pathfinder player do let yourselves be known, even if just to talk shop with :)
