I know that there is a map of the Inner Sea region.
Has there been anything yet showing the placement of all continents? I know nothing super detailed has come out of yet, however, I was just looking for a general idea as to the size and global position of the rest of the world land-masses.
If this hasn't been done, does anyone have an idea if it is slated or not?
Thanks in advance.

I believe that an outline map is planned for the Inner Sea Guide in Feb 2011. I'm very interested in it as well. However, the writers have made clear that the map is not necessarily entirely accurate and may represent what the Inner Sea cultures understand about the world. This of course also provides a way to revise parts without breaking canon...

Awesome. That is all I am really looking for. I want to incorporate Golarion into my Homebrew campaign. Since I really don't have all too much of the rest of my setting's planet really worked out - I figure it would be easy to let Paizo do it for me. ;)
I have done alot of work however on my local maps and stuff, so I want to find a nice way to integrate the two.

The Inner Sea World Guide will indeed have a half-page map of the world. It'll basically just show the outlines and estimated positions of the continents; it won't have a scale bar or terrain features at all, since we just want to reveal basic shapes and positioning of the continents at this point. We're not ready to nail down actual sizes of the oceans between them yet, for example.

I think that is a very smart decision for a number of reasons. Thank you for the response. That is exactly what I was looking for.

here.
Hmmm...looks more than a bit like Earth minus Australia and Antarctica. Eurasia has been split in half.
Not bad, though, not bad.
I'm a fan of Warhammer Fantasy, and that game is set on 'Warhammer Earth.' :) There's nothing wrong with using the only inhabited planet of which we have certain knowledge as the template for your fictional setting.

That seems wise. I hope that you guys avoid filling in the world too quickly.
It's always nice to see large blank areas on a published map. It's even better if the blanks are marked 'here be dragons' or 'terra incognita.'

Correct. More or less.
But yeah, Golarion's "Antarctica" is indeed at the north pole. There's plenty of ice at the south pole, but no land mass. The southern hemisphere of Golarion is mostly ocean, compared to the northern hemisphere, which has a more even spread of ocean and land.

I agree re WFRP "Earth" -- it makes playing with myth and fiction easier and interesting.
There are some errors on the unofficial map (which will be superseded in less than a month, I expect. I'm very eager to take a look at it). Iblydos is on the Castrovin Sea. The Tien Dan are, I think Indochinese analogues, and the Tien Sing are quasi Indonesians, going by the name examples in the CS. Minkai is probably more northerly if the Jade Regent AP indeed goes over the Crown of the World. Kaskari might be the Caucausus peoples, and is to the west of the Castrovin Sea.

Are there marsupials or monotremes in any of the canonical Golarion material?
Opossums? 'Roos? Platypus? (other than a certain psionic version...)?Gotta have possums. :)
