Holy cow! That's a ton of tables!
80 tables for the con! And, we have DMs committed for 70 of the tables thus far. I'm waiting to hear back from another DM who will most likely DM 6 of the remaining 10 open tables.
Should be a great time. Now, we just need to get a lot of motivated PFS players to come out and help blow LFR out of the water!
We have 10 tables scheduled for the PFS Special. We can add 4-5 more if needed!
Finally, stay tuned for an announcement soon on the PFS Special Surprise planned in 6 of the 10 slots!
|
We have set up a Warhorn registration site just for Pathfinder Society at Con Nooga. You can find it HERE.
I will have the schedule uploaded in the next few hours and anyone may start signing up once games are listed.
Hope to see you at the con.
**MODERATOR NOTE** CAN YOU PLEASE REMOVE THE WARHORN LINK IN THE ORIGINAL POST AND REPLACE IT WITH THIS ONE. THANKS
|
The link in the first post has been changed, as requested.
Awesome! Thanks Mark.
I've also had a couple of questions come up concerning fees.
It is very simple. You buy a badge for 1, 2 or all 3 days. A full weekend badge is $40. There are no further costs for tickets to each game. You fee for your badge gets you into gaming for whatever days you purchase.
However, I will be printing tickets that will be available when you pick up your badge. You will still need to reserve your seat at the Warhorn site to guarantee you have a game to play.
On a side note, we have filled 70 of the 80 tables with DMs. If you would like to DM a game or two, please email me and sign up at the Warhorn site.
|
We have DMs for 73 of the 80 tables we are scheduled to run. Of the 80 tables, we are running 51 different scenarios of all levels! Time to get those scenarios played that you have missed out on.
Echoes of Everwar four part arc -- check
Eyes of Ten 3 of four part arc -- check
PFS Special with 10 tables! -- check
Devil We Know four part arc -- check
PFS Special Surprise -- check
And so much more!
We have a ton of PFS going on. Come on down!

An early Christmas gift for everyone. The "PFS Special Surprise" will be the 4-Star GM/Venture-Captain exclusive "The Midnight Mauler".
From the Paizo blog:
Early last year a promise was made, a promise to those GMs who go beyond the call of duty. The promise was a special scenario, exclusive to 4-star Game Masters and Venture-Captains. Hints were dropped by Mark Moreland back in October that something special was coming, and now I can tell you that the special 4-star GM scenario will be released in January and enjoyed worldwide soon after.
"The Midnight Mauler," a Tier 1–7 scenario written by the always amazing Crystal Frasier, sends members of the Pathfinder Society to the former crown jewel of Ustalav's royal courts, the decaying city of Ardis. Tasked by the Society to look into the fate of Absalom's former Master of Blades Vonran Vilk, what they find will lead to exploration, diplomacy, murder, haunted pasts, and tragic love. Can the PCs discover the identity of the Midnight Mauler before it kills again? Find out in 2011!
|
We still have 3 tables of the 80 that don't have DMs. They are:
Slot 5 (Sat 9 am-1 pm) -- #2-11: The Penumbral Accords
Slot 9 (Sun 9 am-1 pm) -- #2-11: The Penumbral Accords
Slot 9 (Sun 9 am-1 pm) -- #2-12: Below the Silver Tarn
If interested in DMing, please let me know.
Also, plenty of seats still available for play, including the PFS Special: Year of the Shadow Lodge and Venture Captain Special: The Midnight Mauler.
I will be running 7 tables of Midnight Mauler broken down in various tiers at different times.
Hope to see you at the Chattanooga Choo Choo :)

Lots of PFS Scenarios (80 to be exact): Check
DMs to fill every game: Check
Players to enjoy some PFS goodness: *SIGH* lacking.
Hey, we're coming and will be registering soon. Just wanted to say, as far as mission beat LFR, you are killing them! We have about 30-40 Pathfinder player and judges. Their total? 3!

My brother and I have registered, and another couple of friends will follow. Apparently, the website will not allow us to register for many mods, as it will block it off when one table is filled.
In slot 6, we were hoping for another table of 1-43, The Pallid Plague, if you've got another judge for it...
Thanks much, and we'll look forward to the Venture Captain mod on Saturday.

We have no more judges available so once a table fills up, it is gone. Of course if someone doesn't show up, you are welcome to join the table.
Uh ok, fair enough, we'll work it out somehow. But you did JUST tell me to let you know so you can have judges in the right spots and add another table of the same game. So I let you know.

I did. Unfortunately since that post, I sent out a message to all judges I know who aren't running or playing in a game that slot. No one was willing to step in to DM so I was unable to add another table. My apologies.
Are there not at least two other mods in this slot with zero players signed up?

Ah, I see, Mr. Brock. That makes sense. Ah well, if we don't fit anything, we'll hang out at the con until the Shadow Lodge. Thanks for trying, and for your kind attention.
We're really looking forward to your Venture Captain exclusive that morning!

There is the Venture Captain that I plan to run. If no one signs up for it, I will be more than happy to DM any other scenario a table would like out of any current scenario that isn't retired.
The other is the Many Fortunes of Grand Master Torch. However, the DM scheduled to run it is not comfortable running many other scenarios.
|
We've added the following games:
Slot 3 (Fri 7-11 pm) -- #43: The Pallid Plague
Slot 6 (Sat 2-6 pm) -- #14: Many Fortunes of Grandmaster Torch
Slot 7 (Sat 7-11 pm) -- #2-04: Shadows Fall on Absalom
We will be adding a Tier 1-7 game in Slot 7 later this weekend.

I will be there! Plan on playing in all the "The Devil We Know" games. And some others on saturday. I have never played in a PFOrganized play game. I am wanting to play a Paladin. Have myself listed as a lvl 1 Defender for this. Is this accurate? I am reading the PZOPSS00001E (Guide to organized play) right now. Is there any advice that anyone cares to offer? (other than the usual dont be a jackrabbit cussing like a sailor idiot that detract from the game) Anything would be good. I have been playing rpgs for the better part of 2 decades so I know my way around the gaming table but this will be my first con experience.
I do not have Pathfinder Chronicles: Seekers of Secrets—A Guide to the Pathfinder Society, will this be a problem? I am barely going to be able to afford the hotel, con pass and the food. Am I still going to be able to play...? I hope so.
|
James, I look forward to meeting you at the con. The only advice I have is come to have a good time.
As for Seeker of Secrets, it isn't required to play but does give some good info about the Pathfinder Society. With that said, I will have a copy you are welcome to look at if you like.

Joseph, that would be great, but...
The only thing i see in your profile is the Georgiapfs website. Maybe i am blind, but...
Also...
Are you guys still looking for a GM? I have time available on Sunday morning. ( Just signed up for a game, thank you Michael, but i would be willing to drop it )
As of right now anyway. But the gm sounds like a deal to me.
Let me know if you still need assistance.
|
No idea what the difference between the two is. I've never been to ConNooga or Siege. This will be my first time.
You will have to ask whomever organized Siege last year why events weren't entered. I can guarantee events will be entered from ConNooga within a week since I am the one doing it.
|
It looks like every table is going to fill before the con starts on Friday. There re still a few seats left, so if you haven't signed up and are planning to attend, now is the time. I have no more DMs so it looks like we will not be adding any other tables.
I have already had 4 requests for more tables Sunday morning but had to turn down those people because I have no more DMs. Sign up now before you are left out!
|
Here is the email I just sent out:
Hi all. I just wanted to send out a quick update for ConNooga coming up this weekend, Feb 18-20, at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. Due to the overwhelming response to Pathfinder Society, they gave Pathfinder Society its own area in Town Hall. We have space for 14 tables there but looks like we are running 8 tables each slot due to lack of DMs. We could easily have added 3 more tables per slot.
It looks like we have very few seats left. To be exact, we currently have the following openings at ALL games per slot:
Fri 9 am -1 pm -- 18 seats open
Fri 2 pm - 6 pm - 10 seats open
Fri 7 pm - 11 pm - 4 seats open
Sat 12 am -5 am -- 4 seats open
Sat 9 am -1 pm -- 3 seats open
Sat 2 pm - 6 pm - 2 seats open
Sat 7 pm - 11 pm - 9 seats open
Sat 12 am -5 am -- 3 seats open
Sat 9 am -1 pm -- 0 seats open
Sat 1 pm - 6 pm - 5 seats open
If you haven't signed up and are planning to attend, I would HIGHLY recommend you do that now.
If you can DM a game or two, or know someone who could, please respond to me ASAP so I can get it added to the Warhorn schedule. At this point, most any scenario would be open to DM. Otherwise, once those seats above are taken, we will have to turn players away.
I look forward to seeing everyone this weekend.
