Mini for the Ivory Champion

I'm looking for a good mini for the Ivory Champion from Dragon 356. It's a figurine of wondrous power type item that turns into a Large size, greatsword-wielding armored knight.

I have looked for a chess piece for it, but nobody sells them singly.

Anybody have any ideas?

First idea that comes to mind is an Iron Golem.

Have you already introduced it in your campaign? If not, you could easily change the visual description to match another large-size miniature you already have.

Edit: This guy could easily look good on a large-size base. He wouldn't really compete with many of the later D&D Mini large-size releases though.

Following on both of Bloodsbane's ideas, I think there are a number of figures in full plate you could simply glue to a large base in a pinch.

And this golem would also work.

Alternately, Warforged figures on large bases might work very well.

Wow, those knight statues are perfect. If you have a copy of Dragon 356, the Ivory Champion looks almost exactly like knight statue #1.
