have ran mods that have had other pathfinders in it. in those there was offered a knowledge check to have heard of him. now with SL mods the pc's will be facing other members. what dc shold i give bad guys to know of pc's and there abilites?

looks like no one shall answer, but adding to it. how about adding which faction they are in. im thinking that with pristege points the pc's get more known, can call upon help the more they have, so wouldnt it be fair to say that some of the shadow lodge members may know whom it is there facing?

You are not likely going to see any DC set by Hyrum or Mark, since this sort of thing would've been been included in the scenario if it was truly important. Due to the word count limit, a lot of these little nuggets of knowledge can't be included either. Having said that, as the GM you are free to improvise and set the DC yourself. You have to imagine that the Society numbers its membership in the thousands. Think about how well you would know everyone attending a university. Some green Pathfinders get killed before they develop any sort of reputation. The ones who live longer are better known.
