One night we were staying out in a cabin out in the countryside. It was our first night there. We'd seen turkeys that morning when we were driving toward the camp, not something unexpected to see out here. Anyway, we were awoken late in the night by a loud "PONK!" sound that came from outside. The car alarm had gone off, so we all got up to go and check what was going on. It wasn't apparent what the grease-and-white colored mass was that covered the hood... until we saw the turkeys in the trees.
