I have a couple of quick questions concerning Lyrics of Destruction,
I played in this module a little while ago, and we came across an interesting conundrum. One of the players at the table had a character who was a worshiper of Zon Kathon. Given the circumstances of the module, what would you as a GM do?
I have a secondary question. We the PCs found and defeated our enemy. We got the artifact at the end. We decided to destroy it. There was some discussion about weather to take a rubbing off of the artifact or not.. Some of the players including myself thought I would be a good idea not bring a rubbing back. Some things are best left buried, or forgotten.
When another player suggested, that we would not get credit for this adventure if we didn’t at least return to the pathfinder lodge with something, we decided to take a rubbing of the inscriptions on the artifact and to bring it back.
My question is this: what would happen if the party fights their way to the end, offs the bad guy, and gets the artifact. What would happen if they decided to destroy the artifact and go against their “orders” and not take a rubbing? I can only assume their superiors in the pathfinders would be displeased. Would we get credit for the adventure, or have we failed and not get credit?
Do you have to fufill you mission or can you go of script?
