Do these occur at regular intervals or on an ad-hoc basis?
(And are we due for the next one any time soon?)I have a vague memory (which could also just be wishful thinking) that there was an update around this time last year. I'd love to know where things were heading after Serpent's Skull...
They happen usually the week after Erik submits the schedule to the distribution network, so that they can start preparing the preorder materials that go to the game stores. As the new Paizo catalog shipped with my newest subscription order this morning, I think that they will be doing an announcement soon. We have had a leak of the 3rd novel in the pathfinder tales line in the past 2 weeks (in a taped Erik Mona interview) so we know they are getting close to announcing things.

They did several unofficial announcements at PaizoCon as well, including Ultimate Magic, two currently unlisted novels, the next AP, and hinted at some Companions that might be coming down the line. It should be any day now...

That would be the old catalog... the new one isn't done yet.
It's one of Erik's top priorities, as is prepping the next batch of product announcements. So... soonish?
