GenConOz 2010 Brisbane - What level is your highest character?

Hello fellow Pathfinders,

We're thick in the middle of scheduling scenarios to run at GenConOz in Brisbane Australia, Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th September, 2010.

One important thing we need to know is what level scenarios to provide for?

While I'll make every effort to schedule sessions across a range of tiers to support ongoing Pathfinder Society play, after all, watching your character advance through the ranks is part of the appeal of organised play, I do want to ensure there are enough low to mid tier scenarios for new players to access.

My initial thoughts were to schedule Scenarios for tiers 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6. Does this cover most players character levels? Or do we also need to run tier 7-8 scenarios or higher?

I know of one group of three players in Australia with level 11 characters who have requested to play

#46 Eyes of the Ten Part I Requiem for the Red Raven and
#54 Eyes of the Ten Part II Maze of the Open Road

and I was wondering whether there were any others out there? Or anyone interested to GM these sessions?

I will remind everyone that while players with higher level characters can always play at a low level table with a new character, the opposite isn't true for new players. Therefore, I'd encourage players to create a secondary character whenever their lowest character reaches a level prohibiting him from playing a low tier game (typically around 4th level) so they always have a character ready to play at any table regardless of tier.

The Advanced Players Guide is due for release in August, the month before GenConOz. Featuring new feats, spells, variant class abilities for the 11 core classes (eg hungry ghost monk, urban ranger) and the highly anticipated six new base classes (alchemist, cavalier, inquisitor, oracle, summoner, witch) what better reason do you need to create a new first-level character?

And if GenConOz will be your first ever convention, and you don't yet have a character? We want to hear your voice too! There will be pre-generated characters available at the event, so anyone can grab a character and jump into a game with minimum fuss.

So I'll start the ball rolling by introducing two of my own characters who probably won't be making an appearance at GenConOz, because I'll be too busy GMing scenarios for the rest of you ;-)

Madusha, 3rd level human Mwangi witch-doctor (witch)
Slip, 9th level halfling former chelish slave (cleric)
