I bet the ability to move away from that area is now 100 times harder.
I can't imagine housing prices along the Gulf Coast and Florida will recover for 30 years.
I just realized, that as house prices crash even further state government will have to find new ways to raise tax revenues. Home property taxes will probably experience short-falls.
