The convention is being held at the Radisson Hotel/LAX. Convention registration is at the convention web site: http://www.strategicon.net
There will be pre-registration discounts for the convention, so keep an eye on that and see everyone there!
Jerry is back in town and will be our coordinator at the convention, but I am helping him with the pre-con setup and mustering!

Ok, 2 month warning and announcement!
With the outstanding success of GAMEX 2010 with 24 tables of players, we are trying to repeat.
In fact because of PFS success at Gamex, PFS registration and area will be seperate from RPGA events at the convention this time.
I (Robyn) am organizing the get together again, with Jerry being the boots on the ground.
Signup is ready (after all its only 2 months out at this point) at PFS Gateway 2010 on Warhorn
But to make this happen, we need players and GMs!! If we don't then we might as well flush PFS down the toilet at local cons!
Registration is open for tables, we will be running both Season 1 and Season 2 events. There are place holders for season 2 since those particular scenarios will not be announced until August.
Jerry and I cannot do it ourselves, and we need your help!!
Remember that volunteer GMs who work 3 events will get free admission to GATEWAY.
GMs who Volunteer, who and work for at least 24 hours (that would be 5 games) and perform their assigned duties to the satisfaction of their department supervisors, will receive a reimbursement for the 1/4 of the cost of their hotel room at the Radisson Hotel LAX (3 nights maximum).
That still leaves you with plenty of time to get more games in yourself and enjoy the convention.
Remember that RPG/PFS play begin on Friday and go through Monday - 2 sessions on Friday and Monday and 3 on Saturday and Sunday. (that is a total of 10 sessions of PFS play) There will be both low level 1-7 and high level 7-11 play scheduled for this con!!

Ok, PFS signup is open at http://warhorn.net/pfs-gateway-2010
We currently have 25 people registered, but not everyone has signed up for games yet.
At this point only 4 people have stepped forward to GM scenarios.
If we want to keep a robust presence of PFS at Gateway/GAMEX/ORCCON conventions, we need active participation and signups.
We are less than one month away from the convention over labor day weekend.
Remember that Strategicon offers GM reimbursements for badges and even partial reimbursements for hotel for those that volunteer to run from 1 to 4 scenarios during the weekend.
We need active participation from GMs. Scenarios that do not have GMs will cause the cancellation of scenarios and slots at the convention, and if we cancel too many, I will assume that the Pathfinder community does not want a large convention to support PFS and will stop the experiment of hosting a large block of the latest PFS scenarios at the cons.
I look forward to seeing more signups. I know the community is out there!
