Multiclassing

Silver Crusade

Before fleshing out the path for my PFS character, I wanted to ensure a Yes to the following question as I found no information on it on my own:

Is multiclassing allowed in Pathfinder Society play?

Sovereign Court

Absolutely, it's a basic rule of the game and isn't disallowed in any of the campaign documentation.

Silver Crusade

Thanks for the confirmation. :)

The Exchange 2/5

It is, although bear in mind the current 12th level cap is 12 total levels.

I've got a multiclassed character right now. Just keep in mind that you have to work your way up from level one, and you'll be fine.

Yep. I'm working on making the most of the build as much as possible. It's more about the flavor of this character and his adventures than the high level stuff. I'll leave that for some future campaign.

Does the character get maximum hit points for the first level of the new class? That is, if my third level rogue adds a first level of barbarian would she get 7 more hit points or 12?

You only get max hp for the first level of the character, not the class, so you would get 7 if you add a level of barbarian to an existing character.
