70' is a long javelin throw (-6 to hit, I believe, but I didn't check the book). May I suggest a readied action instead?

Edrukk and Erine are well behind the rest of the party due to their slower rate of speed and trying to move cautiously. BT, have we seen any arrows/bolts/quarrels coming from the side arrow slits?

At this time, Edrukk and Erine are unaware of the orcs at the end of the corridor. What are the light conditions after we turn the corner?

Now that I look at it, my dialogue was not exactly in sync with my declared action, so I edited it. A readied action was my intent. Broccan is waiting on the orcs to move closer (within 30 feet). He will throw at that time, then draw his sword and close. Sorry if that caused any confusion. :)

Actually you don't need to crouch anymore, since the orcs there have stopped firing at you. The corridor is indeed 10 feet wide. Since there is no roof to the corridor you're in plain daylight.

Waiting for Tiana (and Broccan can roll for his thrown javelin).

Edrukk shoves his sword through the slit, and you hear orcish curses, but it manages to get out of the way unlike its unlucky brethren.

The orc shrugs off Erine's magic yet again. Just the way the dice fall by the way, nothing personal. Canvy's blow clangs on orcish mail but Broccan manages to hurt it badly. Sanstree's winds buffet one of the orcs of the second row.

The DC for jumping past the orcs is their CMD+5, a risky proposition, especially as you risk drawing AoOs from all three orcs.

By the way, I'm going to houserule orc ferocity to emulate half-orc ferocity rather than the Bestiary variant or this battle will never end.

Tiana can take a shot if she likes. The orcs advance as the staggered one retreats. Broccan is hit again for 9 points of damage, while Canvy is hit for 5.

The tower shield allows you to declare total cover from one direction (one edge of the square you occupy). Since Canvy and I are side by side in the hallway, I'm just holding my position in order to create a bottleneck. I cannot attack because I will drop to -1 at the end of my turn and go unconscious and bleeding. I don't believe I can declare total defense and the wall at the same time.

Is the 'total cover' thing a standard action or full-round? If standard, you can go to defensive fighting, and if move, you could go to full defensive.

Looks like I missed an important point. I can't declare the Total Cover for Broccan at this moment. Per the PFCR, declaring total cover is a standard action, which actually means Broccan couldn't even do that without dropping into negatives. The description of Disabled (0) hit points states that a character may only make move actions without worsening his condition. Broccan will not back off the line, but he can't maximize his defenses in any way without collapsing into unconsciousness. Now that Edrukk has channeled him back up to 4 hit points, though, I guess he can do one or the other on his next turn, just not this one.

Not quite, from my interpretation. The case could be made that Edrukk moved before you, since his Dex is one point higher. If this is so, you have been healed and are no longer staggered.

Edrukk's initiative is before Broccan's in the order, so his heal channel would go off before Broccan's declared action, so I guess you are right. In that case, Broccan would be able to declare his total cover this round without collapsing, and realize on the next round that he has enough strength to resume attacking.

As for initiatives I tend to simplify them to say that you act in the order of posting. Since you have the option of delaying you can really act in any order if you like (as long as you go before the monsters). So Edrukk goes before Broccan if it's advantageous to you and Broccan can act on his turn.

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Sanstree has two declared actions this round and Broccan has none. You may want to adjust, but here is the story so far.

Canvy clenches his teeth and lets his falchion bite into the orc ahead of him. Broccan staggers and momentarily takes cover behind his shield as Edrukk's healing energies wash over him and Canvy, restoring both somewhat. Erine befuddles the other orc, clouding its mind temporarily. Tiana shoots her bow, but there are too many obstacles ahead and the arrow fails to find its target.

The orc fighting Canvy is staggered and the orc before Broccan is dazed.
