Back in '96 I lived in Raleigh NC. I only stayed for about a year since I was over there on this here Au-Pair arrangement-thingie.
But being a roleplayer I needed to find some people to game with.
And I found some really nice people that I sadly lost contact with.
Seeing that some of the people on the boards are from Raleigh you might know these people or how to contact them.
Alas, I remember no last names, but here goes:
The place we gamed were at an appartment shared by three guys.
Dan, a fairly big guy who used to weight-lift but got a knee injure that kept him from exercising, I think.
Lloyd, a happy go lucky kind of fellow, with dark hair and missing a tooth . He gave me a copy of Lloyd's rules to life, which I still have this very day. (Rule #35: For women this is optional, but men should under no circomstances use a straw. Classic!) A guy that was really easy to talk to.
Andy, the DM, usually. I think it was sort of his appartment. Nothing special about him besides his dry sense of humor. I think he did do some martial arts.
We played Ad&D and I was in on a single run of Rolemaster, if memory serves me right...
It would be awfully nice if I could get back in touch with some of these guys...

For instance, we had an excellent trip to Bush Garden (I think it ws called) park in Virginia, driving in "my" car, only it was the car that was lent to my by my host-parents. They got real mad when they found out about that stunt :D
