"Sturdy" Shodden hefts his javelin as he bravely moves forward, as deer and foxes and rabbits run past, hurling the spear an incredible, impossible distance at the charging basilisk, striking true. The beast roars loudly at Sturdy, continuing towards him, it's eyes leaking a sickly green glow.

I've been adding in the CA that affects the Trolls and Basilisk, who are running.

The basilisk comes charging down the field, clearly angered by Sturdy's amazing throw. It stops halfway to the goliath, causing it to slide, tossing up chunks of dirt and grass. It then levels its sickly green glowing eyes at Sturdy, encompassing the area around him and Ouda in the same gasious glow.

The basilisk targets M-19 with a burst 1 area attack, effecting Ouda and Sturdy

Sturdy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11 (penalties for running) vs Fort; Resisted!!
Ouda: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 (penalties for running) vs Fort; Damage: Critical!! 12 poison damage plus 5 ongoing poison/SE, as long as target is taking poison damage, adjacent targets take 2 poison dmg.

Sturdy manages to catch his breath and resist the poisonous gases that engulf the area, while Ouda sucks in his breath a bit too late, exceeding even the basilisk's expectations. The creature bellows in triumph and bares it's teeth, hinting at a forthcoming charge...

A 1 and a 20...who'd have thought...

I know it's kind of hard to see, but L18 is difficult terrain, unless you have something that allows you to do so. In the future, I'll try to make it more obvious for difficult terrain.

Inching a bit closer to the basilisk, Ottarr spurs Sturdy forward with his tales of glorious kings of old, releasing his enchantment upon the basilisk and invading it's mind, causing it to believe it's assailent is Sturdy, drawing more ire to the goliath warden.

Very much doubt that hits anything, but just in case - 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 and the beastie takes 6 and is slowed to end Rin's next turn, regardless.

Troll 2 runs to within 2 squares of Ordagg, triggering his readied action, but missing on a (17) vs Reflex, the troll makes an attack:
Ordagg: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11vs AC; Miss

The trolls come charging, maddened and enraged, hurtling thru the grasslands recklessly. One of the trolls bears down upon Ordagg, who boldly stands his ground and unleashes a burst of hellfire upon the troll, but just narrowly misses. The troll reaches high in the air with his long, gangly arms, but Ordagg manages to jump away easily as the trolls claws send chunks of grass and dirt everywhere.

Troll 1 runs at Sturdy and attacks with a charge:
Sturdy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 vs AC; Hit Damage: 2d6 + 6 ⇒ (4, 4) + 6 = 14

Clawing its way across the field, the troll comes bounding over a fallen tree and lunges at Sturdy with its fangs bared, catching him in the shoulder; vigorously shaking him in his maw before Sturdy manages to break free. The beast roars in frustration at Sturdy for his stubborn resistance.

I don't want to be the rules lawyer, but on a charge a creature has to attack from the closest square it can. That means a creature with reach shouldn't be able to charge to an adjacent square. It doesn't matter for me right now, but as a range-focused character it could in the future.

Of course, they may not have reach, or have ability I don't know about. If I'm out of line just give me a say-so, and I'll shut up and enjoy the game.

Minor Action, unholster Maul, Earthgrasp Strike(Maul) with CA(running), 1d20+15=21 vs Troll1 AC, 2d6+9=18 cold damage and I knock the Troll prone and it can't stand up until the EOMNT, and the first time it stands up before the end of the encounter, it takes 1d10+5=6 damage.
Prone: grant CA to melee attacks, +2 all def against ranged, -2 attack rolls

Sturdy literally tries to pound the troll into the dirt with an overhand swing!
Move action, shift to M17 to get away from Ouda whose bad breath is poisoning me as well
Also Mark Troll1 as a free action

Shodden calmly unholsters his maul, nochalantly smashing the troll across the temple, sending it drooling, down to the ground with a dull thud.

Seeing an opportunity, Ouda, his eyes leaking the sickly green, gas, steps back a few paces before charging, using the momentum to give power to his attack. He cuts deep, creating a large gash across the trolls shoulder. The troll can only scream in frustration as it claws in vain at the ground, struggling to stand after the mighty blow from Shodden.

From out of the zone of grasping shadows comes the basilisk, its teeth bared in frustration as it struggles to escape the shadowy arms. It's eyes leaking the strange greenish gas, it stares at Sturdy, its maw dripping in hunger, filling the area around Sturdy, Ouda, and the troll with the same sickly polution.

The basilisk is targeting M-17, hitting Sturdy, Ouda, and Troll 1:
Sturdy:1d20 + 15 ⇒ (9) + 15 = 24 vs Fort; Hit!;Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 1) = 6
Ouda: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21 vs Fort; Hit!; Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3

That one flew over my head, sorry I didn't catch that, but naw don't worry about calling that out, I would prefer you point out any errors or Inconstancies from the rules. Sturdy, Ouda, and Ordagg, do you want me to push the trolls back a square and move whoever attacked with melee up? My mistake, so you all can decide which you prefer.

Corrected map with current positions, Ordagg I shifted Troll2 back to correct the charge mistake; corrected basilisks position after its move action (lol sorry I made corrections a little late so I was tired :)

Rin conjures up a cloud of freezing cold vapor around the troll, engulfing it in a zone of frost. At first the troll seems to be affected by the spell, ice and snow covering the body of the creature, giving it the appearance of a statue. But with a mighty howl, the troll continues to writhe on the ground in frustration, still pinned and helpless.

Ordagg calls out as he moves closer to the main group, "Do none of you have a fiery weapon?" Then he starts another chant, pointing the buisness end of his hammer towards the troll.
Minor action: curse T2. Move to O18. Standard: Hellish Rebuke vs. T2's Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 152d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 2) + 5 = 12 fire damage and an additional 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 fire damage if I take damage before the end of my next turn.

Edit: I'll use Ottar's 14 for a 25.

Ordagg releases the spell upon the troll and aided by the insight of Ottarr, the fiery bolt impacts the trolls ribs sending chunks of burnt flesh and bone everywhere.

Hit! Troll will take 6 fire dmg if Ordagg takes dmg, till eont.

The troll by Sturdy and Ouda struggles to rise, its head listing side to side, still disoriented by Sturdys powerful blow. The feeble creature reaches out viciously towards the goliath, its claws jagged and filthy.

Troll1 attacks Sturdy with Claws: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17 vs AC; Miss!! Ouda and Sturdy take 2 poison dmg from being next to troll.1d20 ⇒ 2 vs Poison

The troll squirms in vain as it tries to rend Sturdy with its claws, howling in futility.

Troll 2 moves towards Ordagg and tries to grab him: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (10) + 13 = 23 vs Fort; Miss!!

Seeing only Ordagg, the cursed troll rushes forward, its arms outstretched. The creature manages to wrest its hands upon the wily dwarf for only a moment, as he breaks free of the powerful grip with ease.

Sturdy avoids most of the poisonous gas, but there must be some remaining effects as hetries to slam his maul into the Big green ugly troll but catches nothing but air, "Shucks!"

It's not cheap. I was about to ask where my damage was when I realized the work around. And ethereal stride always leaves a backdoor open.

Once there, he points his hammer at the other troll and says "I think you'd look better closer to yer friends."
Diabolic Grasp vs. T1's Fort: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 252d8 + 9 ⇒ (8, 6) + 9 = 231d6 ⇒ 4 and slide T1 to M15.

If that works...

Aha. Crit on T2. He takes 22 psychic plus an additional 2d6 ⇒ (6, 6) = 12 force damage from the orb.

Does anyone want T2 or the basilisk pushed? I can shove one of them (if the attack hit the basilisk) two squares as a free action once per encounter on a hit. Not sure how everyone's tactics work this early.

I'm happy as long as they're adjacent to each other, but I think "Sturdy" would prefer them adjacent to him.
