The thought of the earth moving under my feet freaks me out. Things that are solid should stay solid!
In other news, I like the name of the city, Concepcion. It's just one of those words, I guess...
Well Set, Earths surface is always in motion just ever so slowly (in 100 million years or so a new continent will form once the East African Rift system finally splits off the eastern part of Africa from the rest of the continent-surfs up in the middle of Kenya) (also even scarier is the Paricutin volcano in Mexico in 1943-started as a mostly flat farmers field one day and in the course of a week a volcano several stories high formed (growth over the first days is listed in conflicting numbers in different places)-grew to 335 metres over the course of a year and then slowed down and finally ceased in 1952)
As far as the names go, come take a visit to Newfoundland and Labrador some time. Coception Bay, Gander, Come By Chance, all sorts of odd names.
