Nope. It was Frank Stallone.

That was the problem with those early arcade games, they just got faster and faster, and eventually your finger got tired from pushing the fire button PEW PEW PEW PEW...

Official to who? A bunch of pinhead scientists who can't prove it so decide they will just declare it is so? Even amongst the scientific community that believes an asteroid was the cause there are some who doubt that it was the Chicxulub event. But there's no mention of that now is there?

Pinhead scientist are better then no scientists at all.

First, Pluto was no longer a planet, and now this... I can't face the elementary school kids today. I'm going back to bed.

Ne-eh. Dinosaur flatulence reached critical mass.

Bad science at its best, or, more likely, abuse of a position of power. Yes, the Chicxulub event is definitely the one of the best theories out there, but there's no way scientists can definitively prove that it's the only thing that caused the K-T extinction. In fact, the leading theory in the world of paleontology (as far I know), is that the Chicxulub event was merely a catalyst that started the process of extinction.

Seconded. It's a very good idea, but there's not nearly enough proof to make any major conclusions.

If the scientific community wants to make major conclusions, update the theory of evolution from "theory" status to "law" status. There's certainly enough evidence for that.
