Carrion Hill is split into three districts. Atop the hill the Crown serves as the home for the city’s nobility, government, and most of its public works.
The hill’s slopes are a thick tangle of buildings and maze-like alleyways; this is the Tangle, where the bulk of the shops and residences can be found.
The lowest part of the city is the Filth, a series of islands both natural and artificial, connected by old boardwalks and stone bridges. The city’s poor and desperate dwell here. The Filth is also the city gateway, as the vast majority of Carrion Hill’s visitors arrive by riverboat or barge via the district's refuse-choked canals.
Carrion Hill is also called the isle of 10,000 temples, and although the nickname is a significant exaggeration it seems that places of worship for gods both vast and slight everywhere.

Nice, care to fill me in on the details or the temple of Torag? I'm sure that's the first place Mijanor visited upon coming to town.
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to ask earlier. Were we supposed to take any traits?

Hi. Just a brief note to say that I'm playing Cerinwë as slightly alien and unemotional, as befits a long-lived elf. This means he's frequently taciturn and abrupt. Just want to assure you it's acting!
I completely get it. Mark the player is wonder what the heck this thing is, and not relishing facing it with a four inch mithril blade. Jawn the character, on the other hand, is somewhat fearless. He's being cautious about things, but he's more concerned about catching up with this thing before more innocents are harmed than he is about what happens when he does catch up to it!
