My search-fu failed me, so I decided to ask: Why aren't Map Packs double-sided?
Partly because we'd have to charge a lot more (a little more for the printing, and a lot more to cover the additional art) but also because they are designed to be somewhat modular, and it would be kind of lame if the two parts you wanted to use in a given session happened to be on opposite sides of the same cards.

That makes sense, thanks for the info! I'm really enjoying the map pack products, by the way, keep up the good work!

Ok for the price part.
As for the modular part... Now the back is blank, so you can't use it anyways. I'd rather have a flip-able card with a back that won't always fit, than one with a blank back that will NEVER fit. Well, I guess you could always draw on them...
Don't have any of those (yet), but is the blank back just blank, or doest it have blank squares? Makes it go from a useless backside, to somewhat useful one.

I write on the back of my flip cards in pencil to remind me what they are. Specific room notes are also a good idea. The only problem is some of the map cards are printed on a glossier paper that makes them hard to write on, but I'm fine with the backs being blank as a "use for your purposes" blank space.
A lot of map cards fit together in a certain way, so making them double sided would make them tricky to "assemble." Also, I tend to tape the fit-together map cards and I wouldn't want to screw them up by having to align both sides of the card just right...
