I just ordered and downloaded a PDF of Crypt of the Everflame. When I open the PDF, Adobe Reader tells me "Cannot extract the embedded font 'IFMSCF+PrioriSansOT-Bold'. Some characters may not display or print correctly."
Sure enough, almost none of the text is readable - the letters look like dots.
Please help!
(In case this is relevant, this is Adobe Reader version 7.0.5. I have ordered many PDFs from paizo.com before, and never had this problem until now.)

Well, while I am not a Paizoian, but here is what I can suggest.
1) try and download the PDF again, maybe it got corrupted on the download.
2) Blow out your tem files, defrag, and reboot the system. Maybe your having a problem with virtual memory or corrupted temp files
3) Uninstall Adobe Reader 7.0.5 and get the newest one. For some reason I an willing to bet that there is some reason that you don't do that. Not sure why, but I have seen older versions have real problems newly rendered adobe docs. You might not have any choice but to do this.

You can also download Foxit PDF reader at Foxit for free. Very lightweight and works with all the Paizo PDFs (that I have!), and see if that fixes the problem.

It actually may be something with the file server, one of the PDFs I downloaded today (no plunder, no pay) had to be re-personalized once or twice before it worked

That always is worth mentioning. I don't get to many issues with my downloads, but it happens.

Yep, I wound up downloading Adobe Reader version 9.3.0, and now my PDF looks fine.
(Although I still wonder why 7.0.5 should fail to display Crypt of the Everflame, when it was still able to display all my other PDFs...)
And yes, I hesitated to do this, as it's generally frowned on in my place of work to download programs on one's own, rather than asking the network team to do it, and I could hardly demonstrate to my co-workers how 7.0.5 was failing.
Anyway, thank you everyone, for your replies.
