Vampire Characters

Carrion Crown

ok folks, im still running the HoH (with other party) and beginning TotB with main party.

I was thinking how it works for the game, if all the pcs were a vampires for the last adventure?

i read it tough, and, i realize its dont really matter.

So, what do you think about convert them in vampires?
which will be the end for them?

they stay at the vampire´s places, or maybe try to make theyre own realm of terror and dread?

Why would they suddenly be vampires? Do they get screwed over by the anti-WW vampires in Caliphas?

Vampires do have some major drawbacks, like dying in sunlight, having to turn into a gas cloud and return to their coffien if cut to 0 (as opposed to being savable with a Breath of Life spell), and I'm not sure if they're able to enter Renchurch without being invited.

As undead, they'd also suddenly be subject to getting enslaved by Lucimar and the Grey Friar.

Lastly, if they're undead and stuck that way, they may wind up being better off pledging themselves to the Tyrant reborn.

Now, PCs who die in Renchurch might be finishing the fight there as ghosts...

actualy i was thinking in some sort of White Wolf Vampire themed characters for this last adventure, skipping the vanila d20 system and plug some flavor from that kind.

then, with the vampire hunters as theyrs enemies, and the issue to stop the lich returning, the dangers for the sunlight and so, i think its a great idea, so, my thread is for youre opinions at glance.

as a GM im always at the end of some huge quest solved, bringing for the pc´s some extra abilities for theyre own. in this case, they will get some themed abilities at the end of every chapter in this AP

HOH - +2 will vs incorporeal undead attacks, and Blind Fight as a Reward
TotB - Low-light Vision, and 1/2 con score as a bonus hp
BM - +10 ft speed movement and one abilitie from Shifter race from Eberron
WotW - +2 vs extraplanar/outsiders saves, and one minor spell like abilitie
AaD - Vampire Characters (with Lasombra themed clan and powers)

Do you have reason to think that your players would enjoy playing vampires?

well, actually we played Vampire Dark Ages and yes, in my group for D&D/PFRPG the players has played a lot of things, vampires, dhampires, demons, angels, ghosts, lycans, golems, cyborgs, possessed characters... pheeew a lot of things!!

sooo you would play the entire AP as normal, then scrap the current characters, switch out of d20 and into whitewolf and make entirely new characters to follow the plot of the last module in the AP?

I'm not sure I'm following?

Or do you mean to say you are going to have the PCs turned into vampires through some calamity in game, and have them finish out the last AP, in the spirit of white wolf style games?

Sounds as if your players could like your idea. I would not. But as I am not playing in your game my opinion doesn't matter.

theyre will be converted into vampires, for d20 system,

Sovereign Court

You may want to take a peak at this . I think it could work out really well considering vamps would want to actively work against the WW.

thanks, i already has this book, actualy, the hungry points looks prety good, but as a GM you must fix it. It seems paizo love gaving us new rules broken or incompletes
