Merchants at PaizoCon?

PaizoCon General Discussion

What kind of merchants and merchandise can I expect?

Last year there was a paizo "boot" with all of Pathfinder products plus some minis and some of the best sellers of the non-paizo store products.

I hope this year they give some space for more people to display merchandise, but since there are no proper areas for the stands, that's a bit unlikely.

Kind of off topic but, speaking of merchants and stuff for sale ... do people attending PaizoCon get any cool free swag? You know, PaizoCon tee shirt, PaizoCon mugs etc.

Maybe a free set of dice?

Anything?

In addition to Paizo's booth (which sold Pathfinder, GameMastery, and generally useful gaming items like dice) all badge-holders got a swag bag. The value of the merch in the bag was actually more than the ticket price for the whole convention! But this year has a larger number of tickets, so I imagine the swag offered will be less. Only one way to find out, though. As for PaizoCon specific items, there was nothing like this last year.

Except for the first issue of Wayfinder in hardcopy...

The Exchange

The spirit of the convention is to celebrate Paizo. I would not be surprised if this convention one day outgrows itself and becomes a serious West Coast Game Convention. I am very content to leave the helm under Paizo's control for as long as they can stand it.

On another note, there are Paizo contributors that are sharing their offshoot projects if you have an ear to hear them out.

Swag is nice, but I like getting event only things too and I don't mind paying for them. I have hopes fro a PaizoCon shirt or mug if possible. Touchstones to vacations are always nice.
