Will Fedex Office, Office Depot etc. Print Paizo Ebooks for me?

Off-Topic Discussions

Ive had problems in the past trying to print copyrighted material. Even though i bought my copy of rise of the runelords: burnt offerings pdf im concerned that a professional printing outlet may refuse to print it for me. Is what im trying to do legal and will kinkos do this for me?

Whether it's legal or not depends on where you are. Here in Canada this is legal.

As to whether your local printer will do it for you, make sure that you have some picture ID with you. The watermark is your friend there, since you can prove that you're the person in the watermark.

There is a thread around here somewhere that covers this topic (customer service maybe).

The problem isn't the legality of it, as you are allowed to print it for your personal use.

The problem is some of people that work at these stores don't know that and simply refuse to print it based on 'who knows what'

What it comes down to, is it depends on who is working behind the counter. You could go in there, get refused, come back when there is someone else there and they print it without blinking an eye.

But I'm sure that printing it for yourself is perfectly legal.
